The reason the snow caused the game to break is because by breaking that first block you essentially created an updated suppressor causing no more packets to be sent to the game

I love how many people said alt+f4. Fun fact; Alt+F4 is functionally closer to opening task manager and clicking "End Task" than it is to actually crashing the game, so, technically speaking, Alt+F4 might actually take indefinite time, because it doesn't _literally_ crash the game :3

For the redstone ore method, each ore has a limit on particles. If you set up a large number of them in an area then it would definitely get more lag

I agree, but I don't think it would be enough to crash minecraft because over the years the game rendering has improved so that even a potato computer can run it.

If you spawn a lot of withers, give them the highest level of speed and make it so they force every chunk the go into to stay loaded, it should crash the game. This should work especially well with more intensive resource packs.

This one is a bit of a long one, but in my experience, crashes every time. Step 1: create a world, set both the random tick speed and tick rate to max. This will also be better in biomes that have lots of particles or growth, such as cherry or jungle, so either travel there or create worlds until you spawn in one. Step 2: place a repeating command block that summons ender dragons. Step 3: place another repeating command block that kills ender dragons. Step 4: place a skulk catylyst. Step 5: set the weather to thunderstorm. Step 6: turn the command blocks on. Step 7: embrace the game-breaking chaos of the enderdragon death animation and particles and beams of light, playing along with the hundreds of particles and block changes that come with sculk spreading, as well as the rain particles and sometimes lightning, and also the tons of xp the enderdragon drops, and depending on the biome, there will be different results, for example cherry leaves have those pink particles, and a jungle has heaps of bamboo and vines that will grow at top speed with the max tps.

The constant spawning of EnderDragons as well as teleporting strangely just slows down the tick speed. Which is great since it didn't seem to lag.

Sculk sensor only flat world, at least 8 blocks thick of just pure sculk sensors. Then use a repeating command block to summon a ludicrous amount of bats and wardens. If it's on 1.20, try calibrated sensors since they have a faster cooldown (so more vibrations per second being sent and received)

The snow layer super flat thing is called “freezing your internal server”. I’ve experienced it multiple times before, caused by a bug in the sodium mod.

@@IlliaZhdanov I found an easy way to recreate it: /gamerule randomtickspeed 99999 It forces the internal server to update more blocks in a chunk than there are in that chunk, hence freezing/crashing it.

Place a BUNCH of redstone around a lever and repeatedly flick it as fast as you can!!! You will start to notice that the TPS (Ticks Per Second) will completely stop possibly crashing your game in less than 30 seconds!

Here's a fun one. Remove the cooldowns alongside with projectiles spawning more projectiles (Arrows spawns more arrows, fireball spawns fireballs, ect.). Do that and have an all out war with skeletons, ghasts or withers.

as always this was fun but if you want a good chance of crashing go to your world with 100's of mods and hit f3+t (reloads all textures) it may only just lag the game and give the hourglass cursor but it can crash the game sometimes

I remember that in older versions of Minecraft if you put a few hundred Lammas in minecarts on a track that went in a loop then after around 5 minutes it would crash. This might have been because it was still a new game and technology wasn't very good but it might still work.

Not sure if you use fabric or forge, but on forge there is built-in particle culling (even if you don't install any mods), which is why your fps was completely fine. Oh, and experience orbs begin to fuse together into bigger experience orbs if there enough of them since 1.17, but I think that summoning the biggest kind of xp orb could have solved this problem.

Get 20 repeating command blocks, set them all up with the command "summon (any entity, preferably slime)" put redstone on all of them leading to a lever, then once your ready for death, flick it. or. make a 10 chunk wide dripstone platform and have a repeating command block to where once the dripstone is falling it summons primed tnt so you get the lag from the constant pdates of the dripstone falling and the lag of the tnt spawning SHOULD crash. maybe.

I'm not sure if this will crash your game, but it can certainly cause massive lag, especially on a server. (Although, it could possibly crash your game if done on a large enough scale.) But, there is a contraption with pistons and armor stands. And it's set up with the pistons constantly pushing the armor stands up an down. I think this works best with armor stands, but other entity blocks that can fall could work? Maybe you could do something like this with command blocks? In order for a possibility of crashing the game, you would have to do it pretty large-scaled version. Also, you could do the arrow thing, but try with snowballs! They automatically disappear! ((Also- instead of snowballs/arrows that fall from the thrown item, try using Primed Tnt! Ultimate destruction!! Also, would be interesting to see if that would crash your world much quicker.))

You should turn your render and simulation distance down to minimum, place a ton of dispensers that's are full of fire charges and hook them up to a redstone clock. Let the fire charges fly into the distance. Once all the dispensers are empty, fly towards where they left you render/simulation distance. It's been a long time since I've done that, but in older versions it caused a ton of lag.

In bedrock edition, if you tp 30,000,000 blocks out you enter the "stripe lands" and there you cannot move and everything is striped. Prob won't break it but it is funny

Set max entity cramming to -1 and if that doesn’t work do the highest you can. Once you do that make a repeating command block that summons goats (the have the most path finding) in a box.

For bedrock edition: line 16 dispensers up and have them filled with arrows to shoot. Have them lined up to shoot with the press of a button. Have a repeating command block with the command /execute at @e[type=arrow] run summon lightning_bolt add more dispensers for quicker crashes.

the reason the teleporting thing (3:51) didn't crash the client is because it only causes TPS lag, as evident from the slow redstone but lack of fps drop

Do the entity spawning and teleporting at 4:03 (suggested by wegle) along with using the 4K texture pack (suggested by Sunny), then have lingering splash potions spawn wherever you move, and then create a machine that switches stone to tnt and then pack again a tick later. Lastly, eat a potato. :)
