Спасибо за реакцию. Вы выразили мои чувства по отношению к этой песне. Мне тоже больше нравится 1-я версия, т.е. исполнение на Сингере-17. Не знаю уже который раз смотрю, но больше эмоций именно от этого исполнения. Действительно, там все в одном - и трагедия в песне, и драматичность момента выступления Димаша с больным горлом. Все это заставляет жить в это время, забыв даже о себе. Всякий раз плачу, переживая о погибших, о ребенке, оставшемся без родителей, о больном Димаше. А затем облегчение - он сделал это, он все равно лучший, непревзойденный.

He told him no more high note and gave him two injections on his throat, after singing he was in Terry pain, if you watch him at his concert in Bastau when he sing the same song you will notice the difference.

You can't tell until you hear him sing when he is at ease how much he struggled at The Singer. After the performance they showed for a second how he was grapping his throat in pain the moment he was of stage. You should take a look at a little compilation called Dimash acapella - hear him sing without music with and even without a mike.

I agree with you... I would love to hear Dimash in a more intimate, small place with less technical devices. In Russia we have a musical style called "independent" or bard movement - when unprofessional musicians compose songs and sing them in a "raw" way using a guitar or few other instruments (it originated in the Soviet Union in the 1960s as a counterculture). I love this type of singing as it does not have all these technical things and songs have simple arrangement, but it produces very intimate, pure and raw performances with clear emotions. The most famous representatives of this culture were Vladimir Vysotskii (he had an unusually husky voice and deeply meaningful songs that made his performances extremely emotional), Bulat Okudzhava, Sergey and Tatiana Nikitin, Yuri Vizbor, etc. - all of them non-professional musicians, composers, and singers. This style is somewhat close to the U.S. country music.

I admire his courage, I did that I sang being sick once and after the third song mid song I sounded like a wounded cat, it was the most embarrassing moment of my life I promised myself never to sing being sick, I guess because it was one song or as you said it is unfair for the rest of us. I think Dimash Unplugged would be amazing too, but fans and the public in general are so used to him blowing up a song they would never be up for it, he did an OST for a drama and some fans were upset about it because it was soft and he wasn't in the video, it was a regular ballad.

His rasp made it so much more powerful. It conveys the fear and heartbreak of the little boy. The Bastau version always moves me to tears.

In an interview after the Singer performance, Dimash said that it really hurt to sing and that as soon as he finished the song, he lost his voice again. Poor guy! But yes, the Bastau version is so much better!! More intense, more heartbreaking! Still he did great for being sick.

Thank you for the two performances! I cry every time I hear this song, thinking of the parents saving their child, but not making it themselves. It would be great.to hear Dimash in a more intimate setting, remember when MTV had that show where the artist played in a small room, with a very small audience? Doubt it would ever happen because now we need stadiums to let all the fans see Dimash, lol.

I cried again both times like I always do but I get so sad when people only watch the Bastau version & have no idea it is a tragic song & only smile. At the end of Singer the woman & boy was Han & the adopted orphan. Next on Singer is All By Myself. Since you are so good at doubling up, if you want a treat do All By Myself Singer 2017 followed by Dimash and Raushan All By Myself. Raushan is his younger sister you saw in the family video. After the song Dimash speaks to the audience. The video I saw had subtitles but you may have to turn on Captions.for the speech.

He does a lot of A cappella with his fans or just to play. He also often in a song will add in parts where it is only his voice. Dimash could accompany himself as guitar is one of the instruments he plays. There is a clip in one video of him playing a guitar. Didn’t surprise me the finger work as he plays the Dombra. The first one is more haunting the Bastau version is polished but beautiful. I like them both but because of the difference I tend not to compare them. I do like Dimash’s voice stripped back, meaning of eternity you would probably really enjoy it is in the studio but it is all about his voice.

You should see him do Give Me Love on the Singer with pretty much mostly an acoustic guitar accompaniment. It's a beautiful song. He also sounds great even without any music. He sings a lot for the fans anytime, anyplace including at airports where they ambush him with flowers. Dimash actually sounds really polished like a recording even without music so although the sound is put together well, I think it's also his extreme precision that gives that it that cd quality.

I like the 'The Singer' versions best of both 'Daybreak' and 'SOS'. Of the exact reason you mentioned. You spoke my words about this song, spot on. About 'SOS', his first appearance on the show, definitely nervous like hell. And made the best version of that song ever sung!! The fact it wasn't "Dimash-perfect" just made it perfect, it fits better with the lyrics, the situation the character is in. The dispair and pain just cut into your soul, which doesn't happen when everything is "perfect". It gets TOO perfect. If anyone else could sing 'SOS' like he did in 'The Singer', THAT had probably been too perfect, because you adjust the perspective by the quality of the singer's abilities. I had never heard (what I can remember) 'SOS' before I heard Dimash singing it (not 'The Singer'), but I vaguely knew the rockopera 'Starmania'. I googled it, read about the storyline and listened to the original. Honestly, if I hadn't heard Dimash, I had thought Daniel Balavoine nailed it. Which he did, within HIS ability. That puts light on the dilemma when an überhuman such Dimash takes on the songs we learned to love, because of how beautiful or emotional they are. Is Dimash sometimes TOO perfect? THAT would on the other side be the only reason any überbold person (except for Lara Fabian, MAYBE 😂) would cover a song Dimash written, or was written for him!😜 😍

Dimash sang high, but I read that every note was extremely painful to him. I also read that he lost his voice right after he was singing. What and amazing performance. He has bad days like Celine does!!! Very few and far between. As you said, his bad days are better than many others best!
