The one leg knee jump is spectacular! My first goal is landing safely in the pistol squat, but once that's done, I'll try the 1 leg jump too! Great video!

I've used a lot of box jump/singe leg box jump to sort out my dominate rigth fot, and regain some power in my left foot. I feel like explosive jumps are one of the best thing you can do, for a functional body. The one leg knee jumps seems damn hard, gotta try it out! About box jump with both feets, any pros and cons in your opinion with the width on your feet when you land? Like, narrow, hip apart width , and sumo. Do you mix is up? I guess all have their tiny benefits, just like squatting with different width. Cheers for good videos.
@Vahvafitness
@Vahvafitness 6 жыл бұрын
I mix things up very often because the variation actually makes a big difference. When the legs are wide, you will be typically using a lot of inner thighs and glutes. When your legs are narrow, your quads and hip flexors work the hardest.

great demo video. i wish to ask though isnt knee jumps bad for your knees? and wouldnt box jumps be as or more benificial?
@Vahvafitness
@Vahvafitness 8 жыл бұрын
+Muhammad Mustafiz It's actually not bad for the knee joint, except for the skin - that's why you need some padding underneath the knees!
@muhammadmustafiz8040
@muhammadmustafiz8040 8 жыл бұрын
Vahva Fitness appreciate your reply. If you woundnt mind can you please help me with another question. I have slightly bad knees from working on my knees, and it stopped me from doing barbell squats, i sometimes used to get pain in the knee joint after sitting for an hour when i stood up but found this went when i did deadlifts. I dont do weights anymore but if i am concerned about my knees, would you say i avoid this?
@Vahvafitness
@Vahvafitness 8 жыл бұрын
+Muhammad Mustafiz I would focus on slow tempo leg exercises and rehab until your knees get better.
