[EN] Knife Making - I turn old steel cable into a Japanese kitchen knife !!!
In this video I transform old steel cable into a super Japanese kitchen knife. The Sujihiki is a very nice knife and I've been wanting to make one for a while, I started with old cable that I encapsulated with steel powder. Once my first bar was finished, I sandwiched it again with 90 mcv8 and 15N20. The handle is a wooden assembly with several tree species glued together and then cut into several blocks. I took a real pleasure in making this Japanese kitchen knife and I hope you will take as much as me by watching the video!

Dans cette vidéo, je transforme un vieux câble en acier en un super couteau de cuisine japonais. Le Sujihiki est un très beau couteau et j'avais envie d'en fabriquer un depuis un moment, j'ai commencé avec du vieux câble que j'ai encapsulé avec de la poudre d'acier. Une fois ma première barre terminée, je l'ai de nouveau prise en sandwich avec du 90 mcv8 et du 15N20. Le manche est un assemblage de bois de plusieurs essences d'arbres collés entre eux puis découpés en plusieurs blocs. J'ai pris un réel plaisir à fabriquer ce couteau de cuisine japonais et j'espère que vous en prendrez autant que moi en regardant la vidéo !

Encore un chef d’œuvre. Magnifique couteau. Bravo J’ai forgé mon premier couteau lors d’un stage cadeau, près de 9h de travail. Pour un très joli résultat. Donc j’imagine le temps et le travail pour un couteau comme celui ci!
