These compilations seem to be made by someone who hasn't seen the show and uses some pre-cut material. The excavator fight starts from epic throw of Michael into the bottom of the pit which is not here, the Mouth of the Snake had a much better fight in the warehouse, which was actually awarded at the time, and was probably one of the first Hollywood attempts to imitate Hong Kong fight scenes after Bruce Lee.

u know for all the nonsense about the all that glitter or mouth of the snake episode (what ever it's title) with david dalton i actually thought it was well done. yeah it sucked that mike and kitt were basically background scenery (but with reason). apparently this was filmed at least partially during or around his honeymoon. gave himt he time off needed and worked around it. though not sure how as much of episode as michael was still in. looking back if they'd of gone with this for the attempted spin off instead of changing the whole character i think it could have been something special. in this modern day of cross over events, super team ups, showverses (ie arrowverse), it could have started that if handled right. you put david and the girl in a show with the guy who was playing david's boss. go after criminals but on world stage not just those above the law as knight rider does. when needed to get a guy with local u.s. connections u bring in michael and kitt. boom we now have a crossover. we now have a potential for a knight universe. what they instead did was turn the guy into a drifter with none of the stuff he did on knight rider. no wonder it only made it 6 episodes. i think i've seen one on you tube and it's like what? after the great set up the gave the actor and the role, that's what you give him? that might have worked int he era of westerns of the 50's and 60's. but in the modern day no way the drifter role was going to work. i'm going to assume one of a few things happened. either the girl and or the actor playing the boss wasn't avialable when they finally went to series (and if i remember right it was actually a couple of years later not the following tv season). or nbc had this guy under contract and were like well we have to do something or lose money because we still have to pay him,. or 3 that who ever was in charge wanted it to fail since knight rider may have already been off the air at that point so no point in doing a show with a guy who made one appearance, do a few episodes and get rid of it and blame it on ratings. and yes nbc is notorious for pulling the plug after just a few episodes. i mean one season a few years ago the only new show that lasted the whole season was life. everything else got 8 or less episodes, cancelled and stuff made burnedo ff during summer. and oh yeah life nearly got cancelled but they had to bring it back because so much other stuff got cancelled adn they still cancelled it the next year. remember the doctor that was playing a modern version of dr. jekyll and mr. hyde? yeah that was around same time. nbc is bad at this just like abc is. i swear if you're not law and order, some how connected to that universe, or a remake, or a reality show nbc and abc have no intention of giving it a full season. what's the point of buying a show if you seriously only give it 3 episodes. (which abc has actually done)? ie the clock with the ww2 implications just as i got interested boom no more show.
