Coach Knight was a great coach and a great teacher. Coach Knight taught discipline, and that’s not taught these days.

Idc what nobody says Coach Bobby Knight was a Hell of a Coach! Growing up from Indianapolis and now living in Arizona when I have mentioned that I’m from Indiana one of the 3 people that are always mentioned surprisingly is Bob Knight when sports conversations come up

That’s because Coach Knight is a legendary coach. Coach Knight led the Indiana Hoosiers to at least 4 NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball National titles before Indiana University fired him.

@@maryhlad5277 So because he is a legendary coach he is taller than the walk-ons? Knight was a former Division 1 Basketball player from Ohio State who won a Championship in 1960 with one of the greatest teams ever. His OSU team lost in the finals the next two years. His teams at OSU were 25-3 as champs and then they went 27-0 before losing in the final and followed that at 26-2 losing in the final again. Freshman were not allowed to play back then so those 3 years are the only in which he was able to play. While at OSU Knight used to watch Woody Hayes coach so you can imagine where he learned a thing or two

Knight always considered himself a teacher, but he was more of a teacher at Tech than at anytime in his career. Never had anywhere near the talent and had to get so much out of so little

If Bobby Knight had Bruce Lee on his team, he would say to Bruce in practice: Lee! Come here god damn it!! What was that? An exhibition? We need emotional content! Don't fucking think! Feel..god damn it! Now try again!! Bruce: Yes sir.

I have Olhausen/Tan 8foot leather pockets. Dark wood pool table. Cost me $2300 in 2007. That's a pretty high end pool table. Cuz I love pool. I just think it's funny how people trip out on pool tables like it's an in ground pool. U can get decent/nice furniture looking pool table for $800-$1100.

I think Knight did a better job at Texas Tech, he was horrible at Indiana.
@freakyfornash
@freakyfornash 4 жыл бұрын
It did seem like he mellowed with a lot, and became a much kinder, gentler soul at Tech, which was a much less pressure packed environment that wasn't exactly expected to contend for national championships like the basketball hotbed that Indiana was. That along with him being humbled with how his career at Indiana came to a sudden halt very few, if anyone saw coming for that matter also.
