Suicide Squad: Kill The Rocksteady Legacy.

You know what sucks the most? This hurts Superman's fans just as much as it does Batman's fans. SSKTJL is the closest we're ever gonna get to a Superman game and...the world of Metropolis is in ruins constantly. The civilians are dead. Even Superman himself is dead. and then you've got the fans of Wonder Woman, Lantern, Flash, and how their favorite heroes were treated in this joke of a game. Really, SSKTJL is just a giant middle finger to us fans and rather than make an amazing game that people could keep playing endlessly, they instead just wanted a quick cash grab while insulting the consumer at the same time.

Rocksteady isn’t the same as it was when they made Arkham. Sweet Baby Incorporated is the destroyer of game franchises. If anything good comes from this it’d have to be that Sweet Baby Incorporated is brought down

I replayed through Arkham Knight after Suicide Squad released. I didn't even play Suicide Squad, but even I felt like I needed some cleansing. Arkham Knights such a great game. Another Arham Knight that expands on the dual play feature could have been amazkng. Arkham Origins 2 where you play as Batman and Robin in an open World would be my dream.

I don't understand why people were expecting a follow-up to Knight. Rocksteady literally said back in 2015 that it was meant to be the last game. It blows my mind that people have been waiting the past 9 years for a new Arkham game, like didn't you guys see all the promos calling Knight the final chapter back in the day? It's no less ridiculous than if somebody said they were "waiting for a sequel to LotR: Return of the King" lol. The story ended, and that's a good thing.

Honestly when you look at a game that uses characters such as the Justice League that are completely disrespected, with their honor and legacy violated and shat on. They strapped the JL to a pole and let a feminist Harley Quinn kill them.

I have absolutely zero sympathy, we’ve known for a while there are serious trouble makers at Rocksteady, the truth of the matter is Rocksteady is no longer Rocksteady most of the actual talent has left, the people responsible for giving us Arkham are largely not the same people that pushed and developed this god awful game. I’ve been saying for months the legacy of this game will be it will be directly responsible for losing people their jobs and livelihoods and I have very little sympathy for what was once a fantastic studio but those who are there have zero right to bask in the greatest of what once was, because they had nothing to do with the success and everything to do with its failure.

After following you for as long as I have, I've come to learn that you're pretty much always right....I wish others would learn that too.....Also even though I would much prefer another Batman game, I would've haven been to upset about a Suicide Squad game, if they focused on making a good story, but they didn't. Plus I know he said it's a little weird with Damian but it makes sense since talia mentioned in Arkham City about their "fun time" in metropolis but Batman told her how she drugged him and such. Which is how Damian is born. So maybe when Damian grew up he would of tried to find Bruce in the cancelled game

The reason that this happened is because WB only cares about one thing; Profit. They’re honestly not that different, if at all, from publishers like EA. As long as they’re laughing all the way, to the bank, the quality of their games don’t matter. It also doesn’t matter, to them, if developers lose their jobs. As someone who loves Batman Arkham, and Insomniac’s Spider-Man, this is incredibly sad. We could’ve had those two titans neck and neck, with their modern game libraries, for years to come. However, WB making Suicide Squad a live service, and Sweet Baby Inc’s meddling, has irreparably damaged the Arkham mythos. Rocksteady once had it all. Now, they’re a finger snap away from losing everything.

Im angry about all of this. The original devs left so I want rocksteady to fail. We could’ve gotten an Arkham origins sequel, Batman beyond game, Superman game, green lantern, flash, Justice league, teen titans, a green arrow & black canary duo game, red hood solo game. I MEAN SERIOUSLY WHAT THE ACTUAL FK HAPPENED!? No! I don’t wanna play as an annoying clown and shoot my favorite iteration of Batman in the head. I wanted him to Atleast guide and help the suicide squad free the JL from brainiac.

While Sweet Baby Inc and their handling of Batman in SSKTJL are certainly a factor in the failure of this game, I don't believe they deserve all the blame. There are so many other factors, such as the choice to make this game a live service shooter game, the gameplay reveals looking terrible, the UI filling up the screen with so much information, the fact that WB has tried so hard to push the Suicide Squad without them ever really catching on, and the fact that you were having to kill the Justice League as C-list characters (minus Harley who's become A-list somehow) instead of getting a game where you play as the Justice League. The choices from Rocksteady and WB are just as much to blame as Sweet Baby Inc's story choices. I had already decided I wouldn't waste my money on this game long before the leaks of Batman being shot in the head came out. That was just the nail in the coffin. That's my two cents anyway.

Autism isn't exactly a good thing to have for comments like these) Honestly, i didn't want to say anything about the whole Sweet Baby inc thing. But after the stuff I've seen and heard after these past few months, and with the disaster of Season 1, I desperately need to say something about all of this. I wanna start off by saying i was a massive hater of Sweet Baby Inc for quite a while (doesn't mean i care much about them right now), since i didn’t like some of the things in the plot in Spiderman 2. I even played Gotham Knights for quite a while, and thought it was a very wierd game (Got it for Red Hood). I didn't know about Sweet Baby at the time of playing Gotham Knights. I got even angrier when i saw the Suicide Squad game unfold over the coming months, since it seemed like every single choice they chose was to piss people off. I figured these “Woke”(hate that word to death) things wouldn't be around In these games if Sweet Baby wasn't involved. Then i saw stuff on the game “Skull and Bones”, come out with things that it feels like Sweet Baby Inc would do. for one, the chief officer(the lady that's basically your kinda guide, and waits on a boat at shore), originally was meant to be a man instead. Then there was a lady who’s character was almost entirely “i hate men” After all I've seen, it definitely feels like things Sweet Baby would do. Yet where are they with this game? Nowhere. Honestly, the biggest question on my mind at that point is “who do i trust?” I didn't really know where to stand in this situation until i saw that WB plans to double down on Live-Service games. Even after this flop. Of everything you say in the video, the one line that's stuck with me is “The company is our greatest adversary” And to say your right would be the greatest understatement of 2024. i have been seeing so many projects made by WB get thrown out over the past few years mainly for money. And that, i believe, is the biggest Reason to the question you ask in the video: “why?” Money For people reading this, if you want to blame Sweet Baby Inc for this disaster, then that's fine. I didn't make this comment to judge people(at least, trying to. I'm trying my best to not rub you all the wrong way). But we cannot ignore that Rocksteady, and Warner Bros. are also guilty in this travesty. Warner Bros. wanted Rocksteady to make a live service game instead of a Batman Beyond, or Damian Wayne game (if they're the same thing, I apologize. I can't tell). Rocksteady is still supporting the game despite it's poor reception. And, in my personal opinion? I truly believe that next to nothing would've changed had Sweet Baby not been involved. I believe Harely still would make creepy and uncomfortable jokes. I believe Boomerang would've still “disrespected”(y'all know what i mean) flash's corpse. Batman still would've gotten shot on a park bench. And we would still be hunting down all 13 Brainiacs as part of the Live Service content. The only good thing we can take away from all this? The smarter ones abandoned ship and made their own: Hundred Star. I'm honestly interested in seeing what they make down the line. despite all of that….i truly believe we aren't past the worst of it. With there likely being more live service games from WB on the horizon, I believe other games, and franchises will suffer a similar fate in short order for quite some time (Hogwarts Legacy seems the most likely candidate). Be prepared, friends. Dark days are ahead.

To see u get this mad Luke over a company you have been with since 2009's Arkham Asylum is completely justified. One of my friends back in high school got me into this Arkham verse as he showed me the OG game at his house on his PS3 years ago and I luved it too. The gameplay the story the voice acting all well done and yet improved over the years. We warned them not to release this game and they delayed by like another u year after the awful reception on the first trailer. Ypu can also thank the black feminist who hates men and loves herself the founder of Sweet Baby Stink her self as well. Her parasitic company has a knack for ruining great game franchises. And killing longtime DEV companies like Saints Row as Volition was shut down last year too.

I just wish they had made a superman game be it a single game or trilogy which could have ended with clark meeting Arkham batman and start to set up the justice league with wonder woman as the next game
