I like your idea for a choose your own adventure raglan sweater/cardigan pattern. I've made a couple cardigans for babies (they're small so my interest doesn't wander making them), and I've learned that I enjoy elements from a lot of patterns I've browsed. So it gets tricky choosing the one that best fits my mood. So being able to pick and choose elements sounds wonderful! I greatly enjoyed your podcast and look forward to seeing your published patterns!

I so enjoyed watching this! I loved getting a peek at your different upcoming patterns. The top you're wearing looks incredibly cozy! I've been knitting more with cotton lately and really like it. I tend to run warmer these days so even with the colder weather, having cotton tops that I can pop a cardigan over is perfect. I love garter stitch so I'm quite happy to see if featuring in several of your designs. The shawl with garter and eyelets looks amazing!!! Big, triangle shawls are probably my favorite shawl style. And that striped/lace sweater at the end is beautiful too! Basically I'm very excited about all your design ideas. 😁 Your mittens look amazing! I haven't tackled much colorwork knitting either, but I've been looking around at different patterns because I am feeling the itch to try and make myself a colorwork sweater.

Thanks so much Em! I also run really warm, so cotton/bamboo are perfect even year round :) I'm so happy you like the designs too! Have you had your eye on any colorwork sweater patterns? Colorwork knitting is so contagious, once you work one it makes you want to knit so many more :)

@@TheBlueMouseKnits I have several colorwork patterns I've been thinking about knitting. Jennifer Steingass has a bunch of beautiful sweater patterns and I have already purchased a couple of those. Then the Foxtales sweater by thepetiteknitter is a pattern I purchased ages ago and would LOVE to have knit up but haven't found the courage to tackle yet. And recently I found the Paper Daisies pattern by Lisa K. Ross and I think it is so whimsical and sweet! She has a couple other patterns I liked too. I think I'm going to try knitting some colorwork socks or other accessory first and then try a sweater. The Wee Fieldmouse socks by Grey Owl Knits are the ones I'd love to knit the most. 😍

@@TheBlueMouseKnits I used to knit more, but now I mostly knit socks and shawls. I had a brain injury years ago, and thought I may have to give it up, but found a half knitted sock, and tried to finish it. I’m thankful to God for muscle memory‼️😊

Oh I'm sorry to hear that, I'm glad you still have the muscle memory too! Maybe one day that muscle memory will be able to translate to other projects you desire to knit
