You guys, Turin our thirteen year old was at soccer this evening and he got a balled kicked into his head and supposedly was knocked out or blacked out for a very brief moment. Justin and I take any head injury very VERY serious so we kept a close eye on him and Justin even slept in his room. He is acting fine but has a bit of a headache. We will go to the doctor's to make sure it is not a concussion! Wow what a week right LOL! He has worked so hard at soccer and has so much fun that we really do hope he is ok! He has a really important tournament this weekend in Arizona!

Ditching the wheelchair for a walker in less then week after surgery is fantastic Landon. You are amazing my little buddy. Turin I am hoping and praying you do not have a concussion my friend! Not one of you kids ever complain when you are hurt! Turin my soccer coach in high school used to tell us MTXE stood for mental toughness extra effort. You and Landon both display that when you are playing soccer or in therapy. Watching Landon climb up those stairs was very impressive! Please sign Love Tay on Landon's cast for me. I can almost picture Landon going rock climbing by the time summer rolls around, he has that much spirit of determination and perseverance about him. Sending lots of solid, positive vibes and prayers for Turin (and mom 'n' dad). Knocks on the head and concussions need to be taken seriously as the major injury that they can be. Seriously, Landon, you’re a rockstar! Most people three times your age don’t have nearly as much strength as you. You have taught us all the true definition of a warrior. Keep it up buddy! I had a walker just like that one for a few years. I was paralyzed for a while and decided to decorate the Walker with lots of rhinestones and paint.😊

Dang, Turin, you gotta protect that golden brain of yours! Seriously hoping you’re ok! Landon and Ashton as the characters from UP was adorable 🥰. I know Landon is doing great, but was hard to watch him crawl up the stairs. I am sure this will get better with time and that y’all aren’t having to carry him is a great thing. Lando is making great progress! So nice to see his walking improve in such a short time! Now I have to try Freeze dried Skittles! I love regular skittles! I would take Turin to head injury specialist as/ap! So many kids who play football get hit and have trouble, his blacking out shows that he needs to see someone very soon, error on the side of caution. Love you all! Nice to see everyone home again! 💪👍🙏🐾🐱‍👤🌟🐕

I feel for Turin. A year ago today actually 😂 I got my first concussion from soccer. The most important thing is to not push yourself. He's strong, he'll be good to go soon! Praying for you all🙏❤

WoW Our Life in Holland look at you ! Over 85 k now won't be long before ppl are on your front porch celebrating with 100 k balloons then its smooth sailing from then on! I remember telling you guys about 9 months ago to not forget about me when you get so big lol you're getting there quickly. Congrats to my fav family you deserve it!!!!

So happy to see Landon starting to Walk again. What you can see on Landon's legs are incisions but key hole ones which should heal much better but should heal. I hope Turin gets better soon.

Ouch! That had to hurt, Turin. Sorry you got hurt but as you know those things happen when you are playing sports. Hang in there! The headache is the worst. Sending prayers for you to feel better soon and that headache goes away. Landon, you are a rock star. You are going at it with the therapy. Way to go!

Amazing work Landon. I’m currently 32 and been on crutches for nearly 7 years thanks to currently breaking bones in my both ankles many times. My body is weak to all my health conditions which make life so much harder.

Lando is just amazing. I feel for Turin. My son used to play soccer and football, as well as race dirt bikes. He took a lot of headers in soccer that gave him concussions (he was an amazing player, and had a real knack with headers). And he played both offense and defense in football, so he had a fair amount of concussions from that. Definitely keep an eye on that...can’t be too careful.

Landon you are rocking it. So proud of your accomplishments. Prayers continued for you as you recover. Turin, Sending hugs and lots of prayers to you as well. Head injuries are no fun. I have had a couple of them, one pertaining to 5 stitches and a week in the hospital with a concussion from a swimming accident. The other one with a head gash breaking open the skin with another extensive head bleed and a concussion from hitting the front of my head on a board under a balcony and then hitting the back of my head on cement as I fell backwards from hitting the board. I'm definitely accident prone. Heal up buddy. Sending both boys my love and prayers.

So good to see Landon doing so well. What a kid. Just a note be cautious with the rugs. We had to take ours out my husband had a leg amputated and with his walker rugs were a trip hazard. Your family is awesome.

Y'all r amazing. Love seeing Landon up and walking. Hope Turin is okay. I've gotten head injuries before, but never had this particular thing happen to me. Any injury is scary. Last head injury I had was to the back and/or side of my head. Fell on the floor (which I don't remember) and next thing I saw was the doorway upside down. Later on diagnosed with a concussion after feeling like things were spinning a bit but I was sitting. The Dr's office wanted me to have a CT or MRI

Hope Turin is doing ok after that awful hit to his head. Way to go Lando! You are doing awesome getting around with the walker! Our grandson who will soon be turning 20 had a DOC band when he was a baby. It was to treat plagiocephaly. It did the job! He was so adorable wearing his DOC band. People thought it was a helmet to protect him from baby falls.
