not really, Corey or no Corey Slipknot will go on in some form, that right there is a wrong assumption form you in fact Corey might leave the band sooner than you think

F Shawn and F Slipknot. All they care about is milking their last few years for every penny they're worth. That's why they fired Jay, and thats why they fired Craig. They fired Chris because he called them out for having secret financial deals for only certain members. Slipknot is all about the money now.

they're a weird band to me. i like S/T, Iowa, and Vol. 3... but after that i can only enjoy a song or two off of each newer album. their batting average ain't great IMO@@blazet3389

Joey eventually died from an illness that definitely would have effected his drumming. I can see him being fired. Maybe he didn't want to exit when he should have. No one knows. But Jay's firing, pure greed. Very evident. And from the now least talented original member above Sid. Definitely taking at least a 5 year break from these guys. They'd have to put out another .5 Grey chapter for me to come back. F Slipknot!!

If roumors are true that the drummer is Eloy, I doubt that greed had to do any part of this, Jay is a solid drummer, but highly overrated, he did mess up a lot live, don’t get me wrong Joey during AHIG era did mess up too, but if they surely want to go out with a bang, have truly insane drumminng like they during first three albums, Eloy would pull that off wayyy better than Jay. I’m not a drummer tho, but I could hear Jay skipping a lot of things that weren’t supposed to be skipped, he nailed his original parts tho. Eloy is up there with Thomas Haake, Mario Duplantier, Gene Holgan.

Yeah right, "no hard feelings". Yet you fired Jay after years without warning or ceremony and you also ruined it for Sepultura by stealing their drummer of many years right before their farewell tour was about to begin. No respect, no class, and no hard feelings, of course 😏🤣

Don’t you think it’s a bit intriguing that around the same time slipknot sepultura and suicidal tendencies all did drummer changes intertwined with each other.
