Knotted Fishtail Braid Ponytail

You probably know what a knot it, you probably know what a fishtail braid is, and you probably know what a ponytail is... BUT, what happens when you combine them all together? Watch how Sam develops a very full and highly textured effect with a simple pattern.

Wow this is so cool. Just when I thought I had seen all the braids! Wondering what products are good for ppl who hate products. Necessity not an option! I like Aveda but it’s so expensive and sometimes it makes my scalp itch.

very neat!!! I like the industrial look it! If redken still had the glitter paste it would be fun to add a touch to it for the metallic vibe.

I think this would look cool as an accent to the top of a ponytail, I'm even willing to accept it as all the way down a ponytail, but those pics look ridiculous

Gotta agree with some of the others, love the technique but not digging the uniformity and placement of the pins, but get the jist for visual interest.

Wow she's got thick hair! I'm jealous because I've got maybe a quarter of the amount of hair that she does, it's probably more like a eighth 😂

This looks tacky. Her braid didnt lay flat you put pins in for the wrong reason. Instead of using for decoration, you could have done something with that fishtail end.
