Im from Nepal and but I will visit tibet one day for sure.Because Tibetan culture has grabbed my attention more than any other culture. Its also a good path to enlightenment and happy life.

Thank you! I am attending a Tibetan service (Tara devi puja) tomorrow and I thought of offering a plain glimmering cloth to the Lama; but now I see I should use a proper and actual khada. I'll offer next time instead and with the proper etiquette. Thank you again, Tashi delek, Namo Buddhaya!!

I don't know if it can be washed but it can be used multiple times if it's not torn or old

ཁ་བཏགས་ལ་འགྲེལ་བཤད་རྒྱབ་སྟངས་མཁས་པ་སོ་སོའི་རྣམ་སྤྱོད་དང་ལུགས་མི་འདྲ་བ་མང་པོ་ཡོད་རེད་སྙམ།་་་དེ་ན་དབང་མོ་ལགས་ནས་ངོ་སྤྲོད་ཐུང་ངུ་བཤད་པ་ལ་དགེ་མཚན་མ་གཏོགས་སྐྱོན་ཆེན་པོ་མཐོང་གི་མི་འདུག General there are three kind of scarf which white is normally using by Tibetan, blue scarf using by Mongolia and yellow using by Chinese tradition. Tibetan we use white Khatag for wedding ceremony, funeral services and meeting high Lama or special occasion as well.

. Tyai khata tero tamang haru le jaile use garchan muji. Hami sherpa le ni tyai use garcham. Toh muji tero prayer book haru ma sab tibetan lipi ma huncha. Kukurni k thaha chaina bhane chup lagwra bas muji baun tamang parechas toh
