The biggest difference between a group and a band. A group is put together by the agency, its members are separate people, they follow orders given to them by their agency, they can be replaced or kicked out, the other members have no say in it, they have no power. A band are people who know each other, and they signed a contract, but they respect one another and genuinely will stand up for one another even against their management agency. In the US we have bands, while South Korea is groups. Its a shame what happened to Garam, but they are a group and Source/HYBE controls them, the girls had no say in the matter.

Ngl in my opinion I felt like the group would’ve never reach where they are now as quickly, garam leaving kinda made the members shine even more as they had to make up for her space in the group.
