Dear Knox, can this jacket be trusted as a long-journey cross-continental adv/touring jacket (of course suplemented with thermo layers)? This September I go on a trip from Poland to Turkey and Back. Look for something more suitable for hot weather but safety is number 1 priority. Can this be the jacket for me? Thank you.

You should be making airbag riding gear. I have Knox gear which I will be leaving in the closet. If I was wearing an airbag vest instead, I wouldn't have broken ribs. Your gear, although good, is technically behind now.
