They are NOT "double entendres", per se! They can be subtle use of wordplay, though - metaphors, puns, allegories, use of alliteration is also common, etc.

I thought about it, and I dont think he was talking specifically about Knox Hill that bar. I could be wrong, but KH is the only reaction channel I've seen that actually breaks down the songs bar by bar, lyric by lyric. Most other channels, even the really popular ones, will just watch the video and maybe catch a bar here and there.

There’s at least a few channels that are bar breakdown reactors. Crypt, MrLBoyd, and Lost in Vegas do a fair amount. Third Ernest is probably closest to Knox in terms of being focused specifically on breaking down bars from what I’ve seen. That said I still think Knox does the best job catching and breaking them down. This has been basically a rap education channel for me. I’ve learned and come to appreciate rap and lyricism in particular so much more in the past couple years thanks to Knox. I watched a TON of reaction channels starting during the lockdowns, but Knox, MrLBoyd, and Stevie Knight are the only ones I’m still watching regularly.

I'm thinking Black P also and possibly a low-key shot at Ren. Not just because of the direct line about reactors, but also the "Where's my Flowers", then the Tyson biting bar in which I believe BP gave Ren his Flowers for "Illist of Our Time" that also has bars about Tyson and biting like a Python, then the bar about Spice who BP brought on to react to Ren. I DO think that MGK was referring to the top reactors. I'm sure he watches @knoxhill reactions. But if he was aiming at Knox, I don't think it'd be because he's sending shots. I think the reason would be as a challenge to see if knox can catch them all. Because we all know @knoxhill is the 🐐 of breaking down these bars. NLS is fun to watch. I enjoy his reactions because it is his raw and real reaction to the music. It's fun. I consider Stevie a mix between both. But Stevie has become biased lately. If an artist doesn't stay in their lane, he dogs them for it when that's a good trait. Especially in hip-hop/rap. There's so many styles and subgenres, an artist who can master all isa goat! Anyhow. I think he was taking shots at Black P, especially with that not getting his Flowers bar. Then, coming back with the Tyson biting bar. I'm pretty sure that was aimed at Black Pegasus, since he gave flowers to Ren on Illist of Our Time which has the Tyson biting like a python bars

Knox you know your the best reactor at dissecting and breaking down bars, wordplay, cadences, rhythms and flows, whereas other reactors are more about making noise and jumping about while everything is going over their heads… 🤷‍♂️

10:55 re the monster bar, he's also saying 'spliced with it' as in the reactor splices in a music video into their reaction video. So mgk is spliced into the monsters (reactors) video.. aka he's calling the reactor a monster... perhaps not in the good sense of the word because he's already said the reactor missed lines!? Perhaps monster in a good way.. because you Knox really are a monster at dissecting. Also as an artist your music is beautiful ❤
