"Demon tom" is exactly what the depression "thinking voice" sounds like. Very accurate representation in my opinion. How he managed to translate this into lyrics goes far beyond me.

I don’t make a lot of comments, this one is well deserved and overdue... I watch a lot of reaction channels; nl Shaq, simba, artofkickz, Mathews Fam, SK, Kript, to name a few, but there’s none better than Knox Hill. He’s an artist himself, and a good one, yet gives concise breakdowns and explains the technicalities of other artists through seemingly unbiased perspective.... though he is obviously an expert at his craft he has always been humble. As someone who has depression and anxiety (diagnosed and medicated, kids. Sad I have to actually clarify that,) this song hits SUPER hard for me. It’s dramatized, sure, but this is a lot of what it’s like when that shit hits. Like you’re having this massive argument with yourself inside your head. All your past gets used against you, by you. And all you can really do to make it by is just force yourself to focus on optimism. “I’m the greatest. I’m better than that. Fuck you.” When you look past his big political pieces, Tom is just a fantastic-ass artist.

While there are many that do talk about their struggles, it is their struggle. Talking about ones demons does not mean that they copied anyone. He talks about his pain from his mother's addiction and abuse he suffered as a child. They are both very talented. And where they are from doesnt matter either. I wont deny Tom knows how to make money. But hes not saying no one is better than him. He is saying it to himself. Like hes telling his demons.

I love your breakdowns the way you talk about the track and how well things mix.with the vocals. Most reactors are like hey this is fire but you are like this is fire and here is why. You give me a whole new appreciation for artists and the work they put into their music.

I hate watching reactions videos! But I accidentally watched one of your videos and I loved it! You don’t over react to stuff and you explain what and why they are saying what they are in their songs. I learn about the artists watching your videos! You are a good artist as well. I’m loving how he’s reading into the poetry of Tom; the vision of what he’s trying to get others to understand about what he’s feeling, the beats, drums, flow, etc! It’s honestly a great job done, in my opinion, as is per usual by Tom. Thanks, Tom for giving others that do or don’t have anxiety or issues like that the perfect portrayal of exactly what that feels like! It’s hard to keep going when you’re constantly at war with yourself. 🫂

Dude I don't usually take the time to do this stuff but man you deserve it. I recently found your channel because of course your eminem reacts. But I can't keep it quiet anymore because you have WAY to much talent to not be noticed. Not only can you be a great lyrical rapper but you have the ability to really sing. And I definitely see a good possibility of you being one of the goats. I love how much respect you have for the game and the other rappers even though they are competition. You are true and I will definitely keep supporting you as you grow. I will definitely rep your music and it's not much I know but I can't wait till you get big and I get to tell people that show me your music that yeah I've already heard this guy from the beginning. I would really love to know why in the holy heck you are only at 286k subs.
