Ending is the same regardless of what option is chosen.
Uncertain how to feel about that honestly.
Definitely one of the best indie games to come out in recent years though.

The ending was alright and this game is pretty cool, but it's a shame that the focus of the whole story was not the dinner. Didn't feel much for the characters dying (except Brightside adn Dolus, love them!) but when the boss appeared i let out an audible "YES!". It felt so bad how he basically disappears from the story completely, when he was one of the main reasons I bought the game (from playing the demo). I would have liked a heavier emphasis on the darker parts of the story and a more focused narrative, keep the dinner the focus of the story, and make room for scenes for the others to start asking questions. You could make the main character have to work with the boss to hide evidence of the cannibalism while the other 3 are on their tail (for example). That final part when the boss explains that he was a partner in crime with the deadbeat, could have made for a killer twist if it was the focus of the story! In general, the plot after chapter 1 is Thea wanting to go where the plot needs her to, and the others following her whims, which makes the story lack urgency. It feels more like they are going for an outing rather than invastigating the dinner (the game even acknowledges the fact that the group forgets that they the were investigating the dinner with a few jokes, if my memory is correct). In conclusion, this game is pretty good, and while I think the story is meh, and there are some balancing issues ( which I think are being patched out!), the great music, the unique gameplay, the cool minigames and the amazing spritework, make this game worth the 20. 😊 Being following this since 5 years ago and I'm really happy it finally came out!!🎉

100% agree with you. Not sure why the initial plot hook was dropped so quickly. I thought for sure that the whole thing would be a lot darker and more character driven, but the game barely lives up to its title really. The game is good, but it definitely could have been better.

You forgot the part where the level design takes a nose dive off a cliff in the first fucking dungeon with the ice sliding puzzle bullshit.

the whole story is fudged up, I thought this game was going to be about a cannibal burger joint in a dystopic future?

@@VVulf_chan yeah it's just extremely unfocused it's really disjointed. i still loved the humor and for the most part the combat though

@@RadshyguyRadish Yeah I don't even know why this game is called Knuckle Sandwich when cannibalism isn't even the main part of the game. But to give Andy some credit what else COULD you really even call the game if not that?

@@DoctorMario606my assumption is that a lot of the game’s storylines being changed is just a reference to the game’s actual changes over the years and the fakeout of the daily job storyline becoming shorter and gradually having a smaller presence

its wild how what little feedback im seeing on this game all seems to echo the sentiment that it was...p good but not at all what it was pitched as. whole thing is like a bait and switch of a different game about cannibalism and murder
