இலங்கையை பொருத்தவரை மலையகம் மிகவும் ஒரு அழகிய பூமி பெறும்பாலும் இலங்கையின் பொருளாதாரத்திற்க்கு வலு சேர்க்கும் ஒரு இடம், ஆங்கிலேயர் காலத்தில் தமிழ் நாட்டில் இருந்து கூட்டி வரபட்ட இந்திய வம்சாவழி மக்களே இந்த வலுவுக்கான காரணம் அவர்களின் அயராத உழைப்பே காரணம். நானும் அந்த கூட்டத்தில் ஒருவன், பொதுவாக இலங்கை என்று பார்க்கும் போது அங்கு மலையக தமிழர்களின் வாழ்க்கை, அடையாளம் மறைக்கப்பட்டு விடுகிறது, நாம் எங்கு இருந்து வந்தோமோ அவர்களே இங்கு வந்து பார்த்த பின்பு தான் நம்மை அடையாளம் கண்டு கொள்கின்றனர், இன்றளவும் நிலத்துக்கான போராட்டமும் உழைப்பிக்கான ஊதியதிட்காகவும் போராட வேண்டிய நிலைமை இருக்கிறது, மலையகம் அழகான ஒரு இடம் அதனை உருவாக்கிய மக்களின் வழக்கை அப்படி இல்லை, தமிழர்கள் அனைவரும் ஒன்றே அங்கு வேற்றுமை இல்லை ஆனால் தனக்கான அடையாளத்துக்காக போராட வேண்டிய நிலைமை இன்றளவும் மலையக மக்களுக்கு இருக்கிறது, தட்சமயம் அது மாறுகிறது தேயிலை தோட்டங்களை விட்டு கடந்து வந்தவர்கள் தனக்கான அடையாளத்தை உருவாக்குகிறார்கள்.

One day Stay in this Nuwara Eliya hotel stay per person costs indian money around Rs.12,000, I just inquired, it's not so budget friendly. I visited srilanka 8 times between 2010 to 2016 and stayed just for RS.1000 to RS.1500 for super double room where I was with my colleague shared and we shared costs equally. If anybody have question plz ask me, I'm also again going there this last week of January or first week of February.
