I saw a programme about a koala sanctuary where the owners looked after orphaned babies in their own house and taught them to climb up a houseplant and squeak when they wanted to go to the toilet. Then someone would come and carry them to the shower unit and sit them on the plug hole. It was quite endearing.

Except almost every other animal can recognize food as food, especially if it's something they're supposed to eat.
