You can’t go wrong with a good air compressor. I have 4 different size compressors my largest one is hard wired into the fuse box inside my storage room. The others are portable 20 gallon, 8 gallon and 3 gallon . I will show my little tool for cleaning my rc cars tomorrow.

Is the hose reel mounted to the compressor ? If it is how did you mount it?

Hi, No, the hose reel is not mounted to the compressor & it does not come with it. I mounted the reel to the wall & ran air line to the compressor. The reel is not a "must have", but definitely makes things a lot easier :) Are you getting one? Thanks for dropping by & Happy New Year!! @RCInsiders

Would this work for a plasma cutter? I need 5cfm at 60psi

Hi, I would have to think it would work. The only published rating I can find is 4.5cfm @90. Does your cutter specify 5 @ 60? Thanks for dropping by & have a great day :) @RCInsiders

Does anyone know what size capacitor this unit has?

Multiply the full load amps by 2,650. Devide that number by the supply Voltage. The full load Amps and the supply Voltage can be found in the air compressor's owner's manual I do not have the owners manual, do you? It's been almost a year since you made this video. Are you still happy with it? I am looking to purchase the same unit but there a lot of reviews saying it only last about a year, piston seals or rings go out. It has a 3 year limited warranty, pump may not be covered. Just wondering if you have had any problems. Thank you.

Hi, I bought this compressor back in Oct of 2021. So far, I have had zero issues with it. That being said, I use it in my garage. It is not in a shop environment where it runs all day every day. I use it sporadically throughout the week & then heavy use through the weekend. Would I purchase it again? 100% I would. It has been the best compressor I've had at home by far. And...It's still as quiet as day 1 😀 Will the compressor be for home or shop use? @@RCInsiders It will be in my home garage and used for woodworking and minor car repairs, my own cars, I am not a repair shop. Nail guns, an occasional impact and maybe air ratchet. I like that it is quite and it can be modified for more air flow. Thank you for replying, I will probably purchase this compressor based on your recommendation and your review. Great video.

Hi, I haven't had to do anything with it so far. Been the best compressor I've had by far & you really can't get over how quiet it is. I still turn it on sometimes for no other reason than to hear it run 😁 Do you have one? Thanks for dropping by & have a great day ) @RCInsiders

Mine keeps tripping my circuit breaker. Looked under the cap housing and to my surprise there was none. Why put a fake capacitor housing?@@RCInsiders
