His balance, close control and intelligence are honestly astonishing. That you can't teach/coach. Can't wait how he develops every aspect of his game. Plus he's only 18 so build will only buff up. Love him 🔴🔴🔴🔥

@@cudjoe-jm4kh I have a feeling we've barely seen the best of him yet. I'm waiting to see lvls from the boi once Martinez is reintegrated into the team. Lisandro just elevates everyone's game, plus ensures our CMs can actually play higher up. Last season Casemiro could boss our mid because of solely Licha, and that's why it's upsetting when Case gets so much stick for being "outran" in midfield when: 1. Our defense is mid at best and plays soo deep, there's yards of space between them and the CMs 2. They the CBs can rarely carry the ball forward to save their lives, thank God we have Dalot 3. Case was constantly paired with Scott - who is bulletproof and cannot be blamed for being such an average mid just because he occasionally scores - and honestly, no one thrives when paired with this lad. I like Scott and I'm sure we all do but as a CM he's our weakest link. Plus I don't like how he makes Hojlund disappear - can't pass to the CFs but he's sure there ready to receive a CFs cross when we flood on the counter 4. Case has had questionable treatment from our doctors and fitness team. With the constant nagging injuries, how do you still expect him to carry the mid on his own? Anyway, it seems like we're getting back on track and I'm going to enjoy every remaining match mate. Brentford first on the hitlist 😂🔴🔴🔴

He beats pressure, and I mean pressure, from 3 or 4 players with such ease and poise, finding the pass that leaves almost 2 or 3 of his forwards free, its crazy the skills and talent on this boy

I never overhype young players but Mainoo is different. His spatial awareness and reading of the game is incredible for an 18 year old. Could be the one of the best midfielders in the world if he fulfills his potential

His composure, maturity, calmness, balance and decision-making is something else. I hate overhyping young players too after what happened to Januzaj, Morrison, Powell, Macheda, Lingard and so on.

Shielding the ball and bullying players at 18, imagine him at 22 with more muscle mass, taking the ball from him will be an exercise in futility. More than it already is at the moment that is.

I am intrigued by Mainoo...he is playing predominantly as a water carrier right now...with hints of the B2B he may become. But in a DM role the boy shows the dribbling skills and close control of the most skilled attacking midfielders and forwards I have seen!

Scholes is a legend, Mainoo is on track too… I think the only thing mainoo lacks is pinging them long pinpoint passes. But maybe he prefers to walk past players to get the ball to the forwards. Does it with ease and shows great composure

He is top-notch, skillful, intuitive yet calm; unfortunately, playing in a team with clueless defensive teammates, even exceptional talent can be diminished. Remove players like Harry & evans who lack short passing and ball control skills. Instead, bring in real players who are genuinely interested in creativity, defending, marking, pressing, making short & accurate passes, brave in playing away games, capable of reading games & opposition game plan and channel & dictate with tactful ball control - the very skills that the team have lost for almost a decade and a half.
