The kid has such composure playing deep. His vision is incredible, and he doesn't shy away from making those line breaking passes through tight spaces. It's actually insane watching this from a kid. He makes the game look simple. If he adds the ability to drop a shoulder when he receives a pass with his back to goal to shave off pressure, he'll elevate his (already impressive) game to another level.

Have you ever wonder why british young players most times never reach thier true potential?...its because of statements like this!...you people love to hype your country men so much even when they're not at the level as who you all campare them with. Then what happened ypu people blame the manager for thier fall.stop the hype and let the ypuths gow step by step.take a look at former players like: Ronaldo Cr7 Ronaldinho Iniestsa Mbape Del piero Ect. Those for example and i can name a whole lot more are example of what young players shpuld grow to become.

People hyping him up so much already.... Fans should wait till he gets into second team consistently and then you can start praising him. There are levels to this! Once he gets into the team consistently other teams will put in more efforts into scouting his strength, weakness and tendency. That's the time we should really start judging him because by that time it will be on full display of his adaptability if he can actually be an EPL player.

This has to be one of the best prospects our Academy will produce, we shouldn’t put a lot of pressure on him since he is just 18 years old if Erik can get him to a up level he will solve our problem in midfield, I know he is a CM but I think DM will suit him better

I've been following Kobbie through the Academy game videos for about the last two years and was convinced he was a star in the making from the first time I clapped my eyes on him. It was a shame he got injured in pre season, otherwise we would have seen quite a bit of him in the first team by now. He is so calm under pressure and has great vision with an eye for a pass that can open up defences. He also has AWB-like tackling ability. I love this kid. The only slight criticism that I have is that he is terribly one-footed, but his right peg is so good that he gets away with it.

Have you seen Daniel GORE woow another midfield gem in United academy, been training with 1st team, Gore is a box to box midfielder same as Hannibal... Mainoo however can play DM nd box box nd even 10..

This kid Mainoo is very good. Penetrating pass, tackles and elegant player to watch. I’m surprised TH doesn’t play him when we were lacking players of his quality. We are seeing Barcelona, RM, Arsenal and other teams playing youngsters as young as Mainoo. It’s not about the age but the determination of the player that matters. Same thing with Pellistri, he is proving to be good yet hardly feature in the team. Perhaps, TH does not trust this players. I hope he proves me wrong.

Blood the youngster under pressure, but no he starts knock kneed mcsauce that can't even sort his feet out. Fucking rube of a coach. 7-0 was just a taste and it's on his record. ETH is one of the best developmental coaches in Europe. He loves to bring young players along slowly. The more they perform, the more trust and playing time they are given. He doesn't just insert anyone into the Starting X1. Just ask AWB. He had to consistently show his worth. And if his form or standards slide, he is out.

He’s nothing like Casemiro; he’s a box-to-box 8 who's fantastic at ball carrying and press resistance, and his awareness of the ball are his key attributes. He’s a FDJ type, not Casemiro.

Guys Mainoo is yes perfect at 8 but but he is also a perfect DM if u tell him to stay there Casemiro or makelele , kante (Mainoo perfects that role too...plus he is a good 10...plus in pre season he spent minutes at Right back he looked better than Bissaka and Dalot..

I’d like to see him put some more zip on his passes, they’re a bit lazy a lot of the time and he should be firing it into peoples feet but that’s the only criticism I have.

I wouldn't say Casemeiro, cause his dribbling efficiency and ball control are far superior to Casemeiro,and he can pretty much play anywhere in the midfield that you put him. And his pace is incredible

One of the worst takes Ive ever seen. First of all it's clear that he is none of the bullshit you claim him to be. There's a reason he was a part of the Real Madrid side that scored one of the highest amount of goals and won the champions league. Just because our team is in a rebuild we are not the finished product and we are able to win games with ease. That will only come with time. It's so clearly obvious that Casemiro is a better footballer than Rodri and Partey. There's a reason he is in the Real Madrid team for 6 years . Real Madrid wouldn't go near Partey or Rodri.
