Three of the top four scorers of the 2007-08 regular season all drop 30+ to open up this western conference 1st round series. It was a high scoring, entertaining game with lots of trash talk. Kobe got off to a slow start but picked it up as the game wore on. He scored 28 points in the 2nd half, including 18 in the 4th quarter alone. You could say this was a sneak peak into what was coming in game 2...

@@mikem4481 How is this LeBron's fault when it's Curry and the Warriors who revolutionized the game with 3 points shooting on their way to winning 4 in a decade. Brad Steven actually pioneered the analytics revolution. He was hired by the Celtics to compete with LeBron in the East, but it's the Warriors who realized the full potential of analytics. This was a relatively high scoring game but it is Game 1 with the two best Western Conference teams. So, it makes sense but now with the lack of defense and rule changes this score can happen every night. The old NBA was better 😂

Dam this shit crazy, Lakers ain't play no defense outside of Kobe & still had almost a 20 point lead over a Nuggets team that had Melo, AI, JR, Kleiza, who played defense in these clips
