Thank you this was super helpful! I have boxes of slides in my mum's garage dating back to the late 1970s. I was also feeling quite overwhelmed as to how to approach this. I am going to get a viewer and give this a go!

I have this one. Much better than my old GAF that uses a flashlight bulb.

Why did they include a USB cord with this viewer? Can you plug into computer to view the slides with this cord???

The USB is for an alternate power source. You can plug it into your computer for power or if you have a USB wall adapter, you can plug it in that way for power.
