As we look back to over 4 years ago we remember one of Mike's most memorable hunts! Kodiak Island, Alaska is home of some of the biggest Brown Bears in the world. This hunt is one that’s been on Mike's bucket list for quite some time and after making plans with guide and high school friend, Cole Kramer, he was in for an adventure that he will never forget.

Nearly brought me to tears that you unnecessarily lured and killed an animal just minding it's own business, living it's life. I don't understand how people can have a complete lack of empathy for animals. I know noone's gonna read this and whoever does probably doesn't agree considering all the comments are "Wow nice shot!", "Wow you've got balls dude" but I just thought I'd share my feelings

At no point in my existence have I thought "Man, I sure wish a massive killer Kodiak would eek its way toward me in murder mode." Minimally, I'm sporting a grenade launcher.

So what you sneek up on a Kodiak with a rifle and then shoot it with a bow while your rifle and pistol is on your hip and you think your some great bow hunter...

But what you do before killing it? Eat it? I rlly want to know because otherwise i don't find any other purpose to kill that gianormous dog and feel like you achieved something in life.

Terrific hunt! When the fellow talked about Kodiak being unforgiving, he is not being dramatic. It can be, and it is often a very tough place. Congrats to these guys for the adventure and sharing it with us.

I wanna know how much longer you could have waited before that was your buddys rifle kill. If you wouldnt have waited a split second more he probably woulda shot.

Something you can’t teach in hunting is poise . The ability to focus on what you are doing without allowing the emotions get in the way . Great shot man I appreciate you explaining your thought process and why you did what you did ! Thank you man Great hunt and Shot once again Thank You!!!

The varmint call in to point blank range added a lot of entertainment value. Nice to see the guide NOT shoot the bear - I see threat happen way too often. Great hunt & trophy!

It is fair to say that you have bigger balls than most!! Keeping yourself calm enough to pull that shot off is the sign of an awesome bowhunter!! Amazing footage!! Great work!!
