The hot V8 doesn't have a freevalve instead it's lifted from the Jesko with slight detune to 1500HP. However the base Gemera has 2.0 3cylinder engine producing 600HP with freevalve. More info on the Gemera V8 in Koenigsegg's website.

It would be super cool to see Christian make a sweet peoples commuters cat for average people that a regular human can afford but still have that Koenigsegg flare he's a mater at his craft that's for sure he's almost unmatched there are only a few other manufacturers that can do what he does Rimac Bugatti and Pagani that build with Koenigsegg level of craftsmanship

They're seriously sizing up their premises. I've long wanted them to do a car in the McLaren 720S price range, but perhaps that's a lot to ask. They could use similar technology and refinement, give the car Koenigsegg look and feel, and a K-wacky drivetrain. A 400-500 hp version of the FreeValve lightweight ICE, with a lower tech PHEV battery that still gives 600 hp, perhaps with either Direct Drive or a gearbox, all put into a budget-Agera style body with room for owners to mod the thing aerodynamically. Say, a budget 918 Spyder that is really a Koenigsegg. Less ICE power, way more PHEV power and even EV range. It CAN be done, and with the K brand, they'd sell 1000 or 2000 cars no problem. Price it at the Ferrari SF90 or a bit more. With a mid size V8 of course it would be even better. Say 3L and 750 hp to be less dependent on the hybrid side and recharge it easily..

If the engine was scaled down to 200bhp it might compete with EVs if Greta doesn’t get her way. But 2200bhp is only for multi million buyers. So it’s not the end of the EV.

It is because they can not get that much material out of the ground for every EV. They have to ramp up the production of mining times 10000x. Can't be done. Besides, the EV uses 6 times more material than a normal car. The grid isn't built for all ev. I have 2 chargers in my street, and people have to fight for it to recharge their car. EVs are not even safe. If you got in a major crash, you get a short circuit, and your locks are locked. The battery cells are mega TNT bombs, and we still make electricity not by nuclear power plants , so the source of energy isn't clean at all. The cost of an EVs are way more expensive than a normal car. The write-off worth of this car by one year is major compared to a normal car. So again, EVs will never be the future, and the government wants this so they can control you. By pushing one button, your car won't start anymore. Carbon footprint and social credit system will be used. that's why the government is trying to push EV's Hybrids or synthetic fuel will be the future. Not EVs alone. And I would rather not have an EV do they can control me. Ps, time is money. Nobody wants to wait for their car to be charged.

@@Kwarkiemodo Thank you for posting this. It's amazing how few people, including EV owners are aware of these facts. The big push to eliminate all ICE vehicles is not to save the environment or 'sustainability'. The powers that shouldn't be couldn't give a damn about the environment. After all, who are the biggest polluters? It's the multi-billion dollar corporations owned by the elite who are pushing EVs in the first place! The reason for the big push is simple: complete control of society by limiting use of private modes of transport. The best way to achieve this goal is to make only EVs available with all their inherent pitfalls and limitations. The path of least resistance to compel the world's population to accept this change is to manufacture a crisis. Besides all the facts you mentioned, EVs cause far more pollution during the manufacturing process, apparently several times more. Moreover, the potential effects to the environment from battery disposal of old EVs is incalculable. Small car battery disposal is bad enough. Imagine if the whole world switched to EVs and we had billions of these vehicles with their giant batteries to get rid of once they're old... What's worse is the lack of sufficient rare elements in the earth required for these batteries. We'd have to transform the whole world into a giant strip mine to access what little is there. People don't know these things but the elites do. They never intended to provide sufficient EVs to replace _all_ the ICE vehicles because they can't. That means most people will end up either not owning a personal vehicle in the future or having to share one. Might as well just use public transit which is also what they want. The last thing I will point out is the scam of carbon emissions and the relentless drive by world governments to 'decarbonize'. The villainization of carbon is one of the greatest frauds ever hoisted on humanity. It demonstrates the education level of the general public who seems completely ignorant of the biological carbon cycle to accept such a fallacy without question. Carbon to plants is what oxygen is to animals and people. The more carbon, the more plants; the more plants, the more food we are able to grow. It's role as a greenhouse gas shouldn't be a concern because it isn't one. Even NASA admitted as such, so why is everyone believing this mindless carbon = evil??

The onces that are out of the pan with water on a stove, will never go back. But you are right about the education levels of the general public. They all have a smartphone but no one thinks of looking things up for themselves. It's just mindblowing how stupid. The only remedy is to let them fall flat on their faces. It has to happen the HARD way..... I don't think Europe will go through with this all. The 100000 genders and carbon footprint. If Carbon footprint and social credit score comes, I will fight till the bitter end. Don't care if I will die because I will never be a slave to their system. I am a free man that wants to live free... Only time will tell. If we look at the history, we know what is about to come. Men are weak nowadays. So weak men and hard times. Yadda, yadda, yadda... The Gemera is a step back from the car they first introduced. Today it's just a hybrid with too many clutches. Not new. Not groundbreaking. Break 7:00 on the Nordschleife in street trim and you'll have my attention. Until then it's just an 'investment' to waste away under a cover in the basement of someone sho will never drive it.

there is so much wrong in this "video" i want to cry.... the "hyperdrive-engine" you claim is actually a 2L "2000cc" around and about 122.1cui for those whom cant learn 10 by 10.) 3 sylinder, twin turbo , with, at the speccs available at the time of those clips, was 600hp and 600Nm.

This whole video is bullshit. There is no "hyperdrive engine" There is a 2.0 liter, 3 cylinder engine with freevalve technology There is a 5.0 liter v8, and there is a "hot v" version of that same engine. All of them have been combined with different electric motors in hybrid layouts. The latest, not yet released versions, range between 1400-2300 hp combined hybrid output. This has to be a an AI written script

No disrespect to Christian and his amazing team, but a 50kilometre range purely on electric, with the significant weight, complexity ( /cost) and employment of batteries, motors and wiring, doesn’t seem to be much of an advance or payback. Let’s hope that battery technology (and cost) improves in the near future, in order to justify the hype..!..thanks for sharing this video..

The EV range is a side effect now than a goal, I think. Big battery because big power demand for significant time. Need to regenerate hard whenever possible. Batteries are still barbaric tools of alchemy. They will improve, and ideally replaced by wireless transmission methods to take the power source and its weight and limitations off board.
