Hey, remember that bible game I joked about seven years ago? Turns out it's still around! It's a smaller game which only has annual set releases, but it's still puttering along. I actually met the guy who designed the game, we had a nice chat, and he tossed me some stuff to show off.
So, how does a game on Biblical Adventure fare in the face of more modern games? Let's take a look and see!

If any of you run a TCG or PR for a TCG and want to see my take on your game, you're probably better off contacting me through Twitter:

Was a youth pastor in the late 90s, and held a Redemption tournament. I actually called Rob Anderson's office for tournament tips since I hadnt done one before, and he answered the phone, we chatted for a long time, and he mailed me several parcels of video games, comics, and card packs to use for prizes. Without cost. My kids had an epic event. Rob really believes in what he is producing, from his heart.

As a life long atheist, this game actually sounds really interesting. Not to mention a fun way of learning the bible.

When you lose to a person with a more expensive deck remember to toss the table over and shout "MONEY CHANGERS!"

Thank you for not auto-trashing Christianity. Much respect for that.

Oh man, I was a pretty sheltered kid so I played this partially because my parents would probably not have been crazy about me coming home with a game called magic with demon characters in it. Although I actually do remember it being a ton of fun... And now I'm kinda tempted to buy cards from it again...

Nice review. I'm a Christian, love TCG (still play MTG and other games), I just love gaming in general! This was a very cool thing i found as well and believe it or not its life span is almost if not similar to MTG. Anyway, thanks for the review. Now if you are doing a obscure game series, please if you havent already look into Alien v. Predator. I have no idea how that game works. maybe you can review mechanics? keep up the awesome work

This game seems absolutely fascinating. I remember being encouraged to try it as a young kid when one of my mother's extremely religious friends got upset that I was allowed to play Yugioh, and I've been rather frustrated with the lack of quality of most christian media, but this seems genuinely high quality.

When I was younger, my family and I always took trips to a Christian music festival called Creation. I actually got really into Redemption while I was there, and this video makes me want to pick up my old deck, wherever I have. I also really just really liked the video. You're a really cool guy and I look forward to going through the backlogs of your content!

I was raised by my grandparents and since trading card games were popular in my hometown, my grandparents, being Christians, bought my brothers and I a large amount of Redemption. We never really understood the game rules or bothered learning, we were more interested in YuGiOh, Pokemon and MTG. What we did do, however, was love the artwork, especially the ones done in that 90's comic book style. I still have a lot of them in the binders where I keep my Duel Masters and Chaotix collections as well.

This looks far better than expected! I actually really like the mechanical concepts, like in-deck prize cards and creatures that only attack or defend. It adds cool deckbuilding restrictions, has real archetypes, and most importantly, MADE BANDING GOOD
