This should be a wake up call for all the stakeholders. As an Ao, I'm both ashamed and happy that our beautiful district's pathetic standards in infrastructure and selection process have been exposed to everyone. We have become a laughing stock. It isn't totally a bad thing, though. Like a spoilt child needs a good reality check,we needed this tournament to shake us up. We need to be humbler. Getting offended easily and not accepting genuine criticisms have kept us Nagas from becoming better as individuals and as a group. The criticisms against MDFA and whoever are responsible for maintaining a good infrastructure for football in the district are justified. Let us swallow this bitter pill and become better. Can't do anything about the ground right now but at least the standard of sportsmanship from the host team can be ensured. All the best 👍.

I suppose the Organizer aim & idea was to take Dr. Tali Ao Trophy in every district every year...Since last year was played in Kohima IG stadium...But I want to tell this, until & unless the turf is set up in other districts football ground...it will be good if it is played in IG stadium which have Turf set up on it. Later on, when turf is set up in other districts too then it can shift from district to district in every tournament...

Mokokchung player's please be more humble ik it's our home ground but don't be too proud we Ao people tend to be so proud in everything so yes just want to tell you this to all the players "BE HUMBLE" 🙏

This is the result of backdoor selection and nepotism of Mokokchung team without conducting trail camp for selecting and recruiting the players through Talent Scouting and Open Advertisement for all they just assembled them on thier own by the association...... It's a shame

Biggest football tournament in Nagaland in a ground such as this whether rain or sunshine is an insult to the game of football in Nagaland. Never to blame Aos but the government of Nagaland should be ashamed of themselves. Dr. T Ao represented the Indian team as the captain of the team in 1948 London olympics and the ground looks like it's in that era still.
