Good morning Ed, it’s good to see a Kohler get a little love. Too many of these small engines get junked when they could easily be repaired.

Thanks Andy. I edited my response and included the great numbers on my compression increase due to Ed's outstanding workmanship on those heads. Over the years I have taken him junk, and Ed gives me better than new parts back. 😊

@@AEG58891 Yes Sir. Ed has always done a great job with my junk. I went to Ed in 1984 with a slant 6, he did a great job. He has worked on a lot of stuff for me. Always been better than new. Plus he is a great friend.

Hello Terry, thanks for the kind words. Ed, did the machine work on my first major engine rebuild. (1984) We've been friends since. For those that don't know , that valve job has made a big difference in my engine. My compression went from 115/117 (cylinder 1, 2 respectively) to 130/160. Interesting the good cylinder gained more than the bad cylinder. Probably needs new rings as well.

Hello Nathan, It's a 25 horsepower, on a 40 inch murray it has plenty of power, and does a very good job. I checked the compression, they made a big difference . Went from 115/117 to 130/160 .
