So time to build a filter box for a bunch of Jap matting and foams to give that final polish to the water before it returns to the pond. plus stop any plant debris from the veg getting back into the pond. we laser cut and buildup the new filter box with some plastic welding. on the filter build plus take a look at the solar all in but yet to do a wire tidy

You would not beaver how much reflected light can push the watt's up on a set of panels. the polisher box is fitted and working a treat you can catch it going in in next weeks video. Have a good weekend Paul

Great idea on the polishing box mate ,every little helps but i think thats gonna do you proud . Everytime i watch your vids im drawn more and more to the solar panels idea , even if i could just take the strain off by running the air pumps its a winner . Sunday tomorrow is the 12 month clock on the first 480w panel set and the numbers are almost in last year they made £78 pound but this year its going to be just over the £81 pound but that was at 22p a kwh with just the last month at 30p a kwh so next year it will make it to the £100 at 30p a kwh. Each panel should make 1/2 a kwh a day if it gets over 4 hours of sun a good day hear see's 3kwh out of each set of 480w panels so £1.80 a day on a sunny day but can see just 50p on a cloudy day. Sandy the water Clarity's always as good as i can get it its never looks as good in a pond with no roof over it because of the light so best never film the fish in sun light👍👍 Have a good weekend

Hi Martyn You've really got me thinking about power, it's really interesting. I've been researching solar, wind and also turbines in the pumped water system on the pond. Solar and wind together look viable. There are various ways of using water for power. Turbines need a jet of water that might slow the flow to much to fit on the pond pump. But I'm not writing it off yet. You always get me thinking, and for someone waiting for two new knees that's all I can do. Cheers mate.

Mate we all get to old to do alot of things putting them last set of solar panels on the roof made me feel my years last week and her indoors was looking at the life insurance to see what she would get if i fell off and working out what she could spend it on 🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣Have a good weekend

That's interesting. Last bit of polishing, nice! I have had the same problem as you with my last video and the sound Martyn. My video was fine and when I uploaded up, the sound became tiny, especially at the beginning. So annoying.
