Your rods our upside down every rod has a spine and are made to bend a special way and those are spinning rods with a bait caster.

Looks like you had a ball. Do you like that style fishing? I live by lake Ontario and its real popular here. I just wait until those salmon and trout move into the creeks, in the fall and winter. Nice vid

im in Alaska, ive only been fishing once so far.. i love salmon fishing (not that im good at it, but its fun).. but i dont know anyone with a boat.. ive gotta find some new friends, this looks awesome.. i definitely want to try it..

Very good video. Pretty much how we do it in Idaho. We also use the mini canned shrimp as well but it depends on the body of water. I keep forgetting about the rubber band trick. Need to use it for trout fishing as well. One question, were those Wuppin' Sticks that I saw, and if so, how well do they work? Fish On guys!

Its almost all fly fishing in the UK John, which is ok cos you get plenty of exercise that way. Looks like you had a great time out there, what happened to that Aluminium boat you was going to renovate ? did you ever finish it ? atvb, Ken

I love the dude in the hood. A) You should take if off when you make a video just purely for credibility. B) I love how you flip over the baitcaster and reel in backwards :) Looks like you're an expert.

Couple questions what is the name of the swivel he uses? Also when you catch the fish do you put motor in neutral and pull the other lines in or pull the fish against the motor speed. Just leaning and it’s great fun any help thanks. 👍🏻

It looks like most of the rods you are using are spinning rods paired with casting reels. Is this because it is easier to find spinning rods with softer actions for enjoying the fight with these fish? Just curious because I fish for trout in a northern NY lake that has small trout most under 20” and am trying to find trolling rods that will suit them.

Good eye there my friend. Yeah, the rods that we use are indeed spinning rods. We use them for their lighter action which not only makes the fight more enjoyable, but most importantly so that the hook doesn't tear out of the soft mouths these particular Salmon have.
