I actually thought the vid worked pretty well at showcasing just how insane that shit is from a regular guy (Cody) perspective. Like it’s not that the job is hard necessarily, it’s that rich ppl and regular ppl are too far removed from each other for a regular person to ever be an effective salesman to the rich. Like, what regular person knows wtf italian book matching is? I thought Cody did a good job of demonstrating how ridiculous and frivolous it was by repeating the bits he did too, even if that was unintentional. But since he’s not a rich guy the humor worked anyway.

Dalle could totally do faces perfectly, look up "this person does not exist" for examples of how perfect of a face AI can make. The creators purposefully made the ai warp faces so people couldn't use it to put famous people or politicians in fucked up situations and pass them as real.

I mean, respectfully, can't the same thing be said about your comment? Or the comment I'm leaving rn? I feel like there's a way to handle criticism well, and I think Cody did a good job of it in the video, but I don't think it's necessary to be reductionist. It's valid to be upset about rich people just being rich, and leaving a comment that takes a couple mins to write doesn't mean your life is empty and you're not doing anything. Also, even if it's not-this is the internet dawg. You don't need to fight for Cody, he's grown, he's got it. Also, I think putting "suffering" in quotes is pretty funny

I mean, the person’s comment was a bit off-color, but they weren’t wrong? Not true. Here's a quote from the developer explaining why the faces feel shitty: “The image is encoded into a very shot sequence of numbers so that the model can learn faster. Because of this, the model makes a lot of mistakes. However, when you draw the Moon, a landscape or a tree, you don’t really notice the issues there. [...] When it is on a face, we pay a lot more attention. If the eyes are out of order or the nose is misshaped, it is weird. It is the same on animals and cartoon characters, it’s just something we pay more attention to than misshaped objects. Really, the model is equally good or bad at everything.”

Preventing Harmful Generations We’ve limited the ability for DALL·E 2 to generate violent, hate, or adult images. By removing the most explicit content from the training data, we minimized DALL·E 2’s exposure to these concepts. I really enjoy the post-mortem type of content! I always wonder what goes into figuring stuff out with collabs and stuff like this, so I’m happy to see the BTS stuff!

Merch video is literally the best one I’ve seen from any KZfaqr. Usually yt merch drops are kinda low effort imo it’s just a link and a few shots and that’s it but this had real effort and it was funny. Well done man

love love hearing the behind the scenes of your videos, it's cool to hear your thought process and all the work you put into them. that guy w the long comment really is just jaded and someone who can't let go and enjoy something, not everything is a social justice/activism moment. i thought the video was funny, honestly including the lowkey uncomfortable vibe, and not once did i think you were showing off and calling us poor. it's literally not even your house lol. anyway love you king, keep doing you bc we love you💞💞

Would love to see more videos like this as long as it continues to feel cathartic and not like another obligation. The casual vibe reminds me a lot of Insanely Chill (which I miss a lot.) I can't speak for other people but the processing you did here was helpful to me as someone who goes through cycles of productivity and then stagnation and struggles to move on when I perceive something as a failure. Verbal processing is real. I realize all the time in therapy that my therapist doesn't actually need to give me much feedback anymore, she's just giving me a space to empty my head out so I can see things more clearly.

honestly i was so excited about the real estate video. i remembered when cody had mentioned wanting to do it in the past so when i saw the notification i just knew i was gonna enjoy it and i did. one of my favorite things about his videos is that he finds a way to follow up and do the thing he makes jokes about someone else doing.

btw Cody, im sure it’s difficult having so many ppl tell u whats right & wrong and to try and figure out what ppl want to see honestly when u put stuff out that u genuinely enjoy doing (honestly all the stuff u put out is great bc ur a stand up guy) its entertaining . people think too much ab stuff that doesnt matter yanno ITS NOT THAT DEEP PEOPLE

I just wanna say I love the way you're able to take criticism and not take it so deeply. Half the time when people write shit they don't even think theres a chance the creator sees it, and it annoys me when creators take genuine offense over a comment. It's not that deep, and I'm glad you're able to just read someone's opinion and brush it off, because it's not worth getting genuinely upset over
