▸Our Polish coast is a dream place for singles, lovers and the whole family. Clean air, great climate, rich accommodation offer, and also beautiful beaches and wonderful bathing areas. All this is offered to us by Polish cities on the Baltic Sea, at any time of the year.
One of the famous large cities is Kolobrzeg, located in the north-western part of Poland, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, at the mouth of the Parsęta River. There is also a seaport with various functions, incl. commercial, fishing, yacht and passenger.
The city is famous primarily for a large number of spas and sanatoriums. In the city and its vicinity, there are springs of mineral water, brine and peat deposits, where mainly diseases of the upper respiratory tract, circulation and joint diseases are treated.
Here, too, numerous concerts are organized, among them the very popular, especially among young people, Sunrise Festival in the summer.
Even though nothing can "beat" the 511.5-meter-long Sopot pier, Kołobrzeg also enjoys a beautiful 220-meter-long pier. In addition, there is a lighthouse that was built in 1946. Next to it there is a marina with small ferries organizing cruises on the sea.
There is probably no such person who, while in Kołobrzeg, did not use the services of the "Pirata" or "Rozbitka" ships.
There is also a commercial port in the city - Polska Żegluga Bałtycka, a fishing port, a yacht port, a military port, and the aforementioned passenger harbor.
Beautiful, very wide beaches with pubs and restaurants are crowded with crowds of tourists in the summer season, it is then difficult to find a piece of free space for yourself. For those who long for walks and do not like roasting in the sun, Kołobrzeg has a beautiful Nadmorska Avenue with numerous fish bars and cafes.
For enthusiasts of cycling trips, the bicycle routes of the Kołobrzeg and Ustronie Morskie communes are an advantage. The International Bicycle Trail also passes through Kołobrzeg.
The city has a great atmosphere, people feel a great atmosphere here. Being in the vicinity, it is impossible not to visit Kołobrzeg, not to take a boat trip or climb the lighthouse to admire the panorama of the city.
For enthusiasts, the attraction is the Polish Arms Museum, which houses interesting collections of Polish military and the Bastion Military Attractions Center with a large collection of armored equipment.
The offer of this charming city also includes the "Wild West-Show", a program and adventure for organized groups, in which tourists can feel like in a real western, ranging from horse riding, archery, carriage rides, or climbing walls, meeting with animals.
Kołobrzeg is the most picturesque city in Western Pomerania, here there is "something for everyone". Nobody will allow themselves to be bored or not busy.
If, however, a large city will make you tired, you can take a special bus, e.g. to Ustronie Morskie, where your dream peace, relaxation and rest will surely be guaranteed.
