In December 2021, we created a Sustainability Policy to help explain the actions we are taking to achieve our purpose and continue those contributions.
Our goal is to achieve a sustainable society and facilitate business growth. In honour of our Komatsu 100th anniversary in 2021, we declared that we would take on the challenge of becoming carbon neutral. By 2030, we will strive to decrease carbon emissions by 50%. We are also working to increase our rate of renewable energy use by 50%.
