Why does every target elevator automatically press the floor buttons for you? Are they just being friendly or what?

That's just something they do. I guess its more of a hands free ride inside.

The door sensor activates & selects the floor you're going someone calls it and then goes threw the door sensors

There is no sign that says not to. I was going to take a ride on it, but employees started using it to move carts, so I decided not to. If I come back here, I will try to get a ride on it.

That kinda looks like an MEI.. I don't think that's a Kone.

Honestly its hard to tell. In California I think it's safe to say that Target elevators are Mitsubishi since I am pretty sure Target and Mitsubishi have a contract. I would say that this is a Mitsubishi but the nearest mitsubishi elevator office to STL is in Chicago.

Ah. MEI uses that indicator mainly, but every once and a while I guess Kone or Schindler uses it.
