Why the fuck is there are there musical numbers in a Kong movie?

I would love to have been a fly on the wall during the pitching for this thing. Why King Kong for this instead of something more appropriate like Godzilla, a kappa or a mermaid? Well, I assume more people would watch if King Kong was involved.

You really need to watch the show for the plot to make sense. Although I can’t excuse the musical numbers, I still stand by the fact that King Kong Lives is worse than this.

(To say nothing of all the questions that the show raised and probably never even addressed, let alone answered, like why there was *one* native on the island, and where she came from.)

its good that this movie helped you out and I have seen some of the T.V. show that this movie is base off of and they do go into how the fusion works and it can go in the other way and a lot more and I don't there are songs in this movie for god stakes don't have them in there why do they have to be there well any way I heard some news about Godzilla 2 king of the monsters and there are going to be more monsters in it than just the 4 and that could be a very good thing but the more I think about it I feel like its a very bad thing am I over thinking things or is there some thing to be worry about?

I remember being like 5 or 6 when this came out, and i absolutely hated it. I had seen and loved peter Jacksons king kong and thought of that film as the definitive kong film/kong. So then when i heard an animated movie and tv show was coming it blew my mind! Wow a king kong tv show?! I thought, but then when it started and kong sounded like a pirate going "arrrrgh" over and over, and then the sexy half naked rule 34 "shaman" started singing, i was crushed lmfao i was so upset that the movie and show were such complete garbage, i hated and still do hate musicals, i just dont understand, nor want to understand what people like about the idea of singing through a whole story. Its just stupid as hell, and thats fine for anyone who loves musicals, i just think theyre the worst thing since the black plague. Okay maybe not that bad, but close to it lol anyway, i had entirely forgotten this abomination of a movie/tv series existed. The great part about the godzilla '98 cartoon was the fact it was made for a younger audience, but adults can watch it and enjoy it, theres awesome action, even a bit of blood here and there, with some occasional adult jokes thrown in, for example, its much less an adult joke and kore a joke mostly adults can understand, in one episode tgey visit japan, and a mother is on a plane with her son, and the son sees zilla and calls out its godzilla! To his mom, and then the mom says something like "your silly, what would godzilla be doing in japan?" Which is an awesome wink at fans, but this kong show is so garbage, its basically the embodiment of how much modern cartoons suck donkey asshole, and no longer care about anything other than making money off kids and only make cartoons for little kids. A perfect example being teen titans and teen titans go.
