The CGI is actually really damn good and the fact that the fight is in daylight makes it even more damn impressive. One of those rare movies where I'll take CGI effects over practical effects.

3:07 One of my favorite scenes. Kong, with Weaver in his hand knowing he can't open it, wraps his arm around the Skullcrawler's tongue inside it's mouth and then pulls its guts out. I love this movie.

@@holden7688 Skull crawler wants to eat weaver not want to swallow kong's arm, he put his tongue around kong's arm to get kong to release it, The skull crawler's fault was that he was too forceful to swallow Kong's arm. As a result, his tongue is not strong enough to withstand the pull of Kong then all his organs come out RipSkullCrawler 😭

If i remember correctly i think in this movie they mention he was still young and was still growing so it would make sense that in Godzilla vs Kong he was gonna be just as big and just as strong as Godzilla. The only thing that makes Godzilla stronger is his atomic blast so it's gonna be interesting to see how they even the odds with Kong's new weapon they show him get

I'd say maybe the skullcrawlers were too numerous ? Like, you know, ants on a colony. You can kill a lot but still, at the end, they wore em down and despite the damage being quite huge in both sides, kong clan weren't as many the lizards and there we go.

This is bigger than Kong + the Big One is intelligent. Kong was seriously injured from the ridiculous amount of explosives that hot as or hotter than lava and after Kong's victory, Kong didn't rest but continue to patrol his territory. Kong is ridiculously buffed in this movie.

Kong's size is way off in Godzilla vs Kong. He's supposed to be 3x bigger in that movie but here when he picks up the girl his hand is the same size as it is when the little girl touches his finger in Godzilla vs Kong.

But Godzilla took on two mutos with no help and have no personal attachments to anyone or anything. Plus for monsters to actually have intellectual abilities they would do the unexpected. Like Godzilla using his atomic energy to kill his foes which constantly changes his abilities and mutates him. Unlike King Kong who is a primate he needs to mutate or have more intelligence to be on par with Godzilla, but they both have primal instincts and intelligence so they’ll do what they are as animals.

There's a lot of comments here wondering how Kong can keep up with the Skullcrawlers currently as "Teen" specimen of his species. Yet his parents as adults couldn't. 1. Kongs mother at the time of there deaths was going into labour 2. They where ambushed by a pack of adult Skullcrawlers 3. There was a war of sorts happening on skull island.
