John Goodman makes one more appearance in the Monsterverse, episode 1 of Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters. The tv show is 8 episodes and should be watched between Godzilla: King Of The Monsters and Godzilla VS Kong, the storyline takes place between 1953 and 2020. It fills in the history of everything in the Monsterverse.

The tv show was supposed to debut before Godzilla VS Kong in 2021 but the whole covid thing happened so it was released on Apple+ in 2023.

I love how Kong rips out that one Skullcrawler's guts, much to the disgust of the human visitors. Side note: It's hilarious to hear Samuel L. Jackson say "Bitch, please!!"

You should tell them that Chapman (Toby Kebbell) played Kong and also Koba in the Planet of the Apes trilogy they love so much. He's an incredible actor❤

I cannot blame Kong for anything...they came in guns blazing literally, making noise, destroying his home...they deserved what they got. Seriously...if someone did that to a human, they would do the same thing the ape did.
