Hello Karen. I am half indian half german. Born in germany and i love your chanel and and tried out a lot of your reciepes. Delicious. Königsberger Klopse is a traditional receipe from gremany but not from the today germany. It is from Königsberg which belonged to East Prussia and later to the german empire. After WW2 it was taken over by the russians. This german town belongs to russia today since 1945. They changed the name in Kaliningrad. Greetings from south germany Ashoka

Thank you so much!!! Yes I know it’s an old traditional recipe! We enjoyed German food in Berlin but it’s very multicultural today!

Nice presentation, but this is not a German Königsberger Klopse recipe. The authentic recipe is very different

What Angela S doesn't know is that these style meatballs were originated from back in the 1800's, and I have seen them being claimed as from the Baltics (Latvia/Lithuania), Poland, and Russia...but then we get into...ermmm….history and politics....but who cares? As long as they are delicious...
