Helmut nailed it. To me this still is the best version ever performed. At the end we see our King really grateful. I love our King, he's a decent human being who does an excellent job, really devoted. He had a difficult youth, but he managed to turn it into a wonderful family.

Possibly the best version I've ever heard. This is an underrated anthem, even among the Belgians. This is possibly because the idea of Belgium is somewhat artificial given the deep cultural fault line which runs through it. Pity- I love Belgium and the Belgians, they have much to be proud of.

I have friends and colleagues at Free University of Amsterdam, and I listened to one of the best symphonic concerts ever at Concertgebouw! Also, I loved Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum! And I was running a serious risk of missing my flight back home because I stayed longer than planned at the Van Gogh Museum :) Plus, the city of Amsterdam itself is a great place to be, I loved the vibe 👍 looking forward to visiting again soon!

I like the way the Flemish is spoken at the beginning. Some Flemish and Dutch are disagreeable in their pronunciations of R and G, spitting and gargling the letters. King Willem Alexander also speaks well in his Dutch style. Thank you for this version of the Brabanconne. God bless Belgiium !

L'hymne national belge est tout simplement magnifique. Il fait référence à l'autorité (le roi), à l'organisation de l'Etat (la loi) et à une valeur essentielle de la civilisation occidentale et chrétienne (la liberté). Helmut Lotti le chante avec pathos et réjouit le coeur de ses auditeurs.

Dikke proficiat Helmut, ge laat zien dat ge ne grote zijt en gene schrik hebt van die 5 % extremisten in ons mooie landje; Ze zouden deze versie moeten spelen voor de wedstrijden van de rode Duivels; deze versie geeft tenminste emotie weer! angry european, You don't realize how amazingly good you have it in Belgium. Live abroad for a while and you'll see. I've been in the USA for many years, and I have lived in other countries. Belgium is REALLY NICE and comfortable (I did not say perfect). So, instead of complaining, be grateful for what you have. From abroad, the petty linguistic quarrels seem so ridiculous. Belgium is AMAZING!!

Inderdaad een mooi volkslied, dat ik nauwelijks kende ook al woon ik vlakbij België (in Maastricht), en kom ik vaak in België. Helmut Lotti zingt het met veel overtuiging. Ik heb altijd gemengde gevoelens als een volkslied gespeeld wordt, aangezien het nationalistische gevoelens opwekt, die gemakkelijk kunnen ontaarden in een superioriteitsgevoel (wij zijn beter als de andere landen). Maar een zekere trots op je land mag wel. In ieder geval mag België trots zijn op hun Helmut Lotti, een van de meest veelzijdige zangers die ik ken. Hij zingt zowel klassiek als rock ‘n’ roll (vooral zijn grote voorbeeld Elvis Presley) als swing, wat erg uitzonderlijk is. Één prachtlied dat ons land eind 1930 eer aandoet de Brabaçonne tot vandaag en nog vele jaren. Alles is gezegd. Het lied brengt vele emoties naar boven.

Helmut ,bei deinem Gesang werden sogar beim König und seinem Gefolge die Augen feucht. Du rührst an ihre Gefühle! Das lässt uns Kleinbürger ein wenig hoffen. Sing noch lange weiter,damit die Welt eine bessere wird.!
