I’ve seriously always wished a tool like this existed. Tribus has literally made the exact tool I’ve always thought about. With the collar rotating around like that and closing the opening lol what a mind blower. I’m glad some one finally figured it out. Same with the snap on quick release snap ring pliers. Just a push button to release them and swap them for external and and internal snap rings.

Definitely a tool I always thought someone should build. But unfortunatley at this point its mainly a tool for heavy line techs, because the sizes dont go small enough for us automotive guys. I use 10mm through 14mm mainly, along with 3/8 - 5/8.

I agree I’m gonna get a set when they come out with smaller sizes. We do a lot of brake lines here in pa and I’ve been looking for a set of these for awhile but couldn’t seem to find the right ones. The gear wrench ones are too long and i think Astro makes a set but there not flex head.

Koon trucking just gotta throw out here that your content is some of the best. Your tool reviews are fair and honest which is awesome in my mind because your showing that a 40$ ratchet will do ya just fine for the younger just getting started guys and gals who think ya gotta have snap/matco or other exspensive tools. I started with a hodge podge set and as I've gotten older and have some extra cash I've upgraded to a well rounded hodge podge tool set. I've got 40 year-old 1/4 drive can't read the name ratchet that won't give up and I've got snap on and matco 1/4 ratchets. I love jumping on the truck and looking its fun its my relaxing spot on thursdays for me. Keep up the grest content. Bill for prez 2020

$350 bucks lmao Ill save my money and figure out how to get the fitting off some other way. Although I have never had an issue using either regular line wrenches or offset angle wrenches to get hydraulic lines off, and yes I work on light to heavy machinery daily at a dealership. Good in theory but I see this as another one of those craftsman gimmick tools.

Gotta have those smaller sizes for the automotive field. One example or test would be the GM brake lines on a K1500. The brake module is on the frame and if your doing line you'll end up having to them all cause they're so close and all routed so close you can't get a 1/8 of a turn. I usually cut the line off at the nut and use a socket. That's one example I'd like to see it tested on.

Clay you always get tools that make sense, I always wondered if there was a tool company that made ratcheting line flare nut wrenches, because in school when being taught the use of flare nut wrenches my big pet peeve was the repositioning the wrench. Thank God Tribus developed these, price to me isn't an issue as long as it's U.S.A. made... 👨‍🔧 Merry Christmas guys and family... 🎄🎁 God bless...

Seems great in theory not so much in practice. I have met people with these tools they are not new. Guess what they use a flare wrench crows foot. Why? because if it is that much of a pain to get to that location they are useless and always annoying to get off of the line which is never in an easy spot to ratchet it. People need to learn to use the basic tools they have. I own 3 sets of line wrenches and I never use them cause they always spread or I can never get to where I need too. I just use crows feet or Flank Drive + long patterns. Also fyi I am a diesel mechanic who works in pa and deals with trucks from all over and some that have been in fields 16yrs. I also work on cars so.....
