Looks good, As if you spent some time on the edit. Very cool, liked the spot, though you know I am a fan of the place and what it means. I do think the urban myth has some value. My friend, god rest his soul, Mark White told me the story of china rapids . I think it is amazing how MT History has forgotten about the the travesty that happened to the Chines workers in the state. They were abused and persecuted for not only the color of their skin but also for their national origin. Fun fact if the Chinese Exclusion Act was passed in 1882. What fun it is to think that the population in this state would have been at least 30% Chinese. These people helped build the west and were treated so unfairly. Then again, being a MT NATIVE which means I was just borne here, and what we did with Native Americans wow,,,,,,,,,,,,,, So yes to think we have these sites around where good bad or ugly, and kids and new Montana residents just call it China Rapids without the knowledge of what the names mean. But I digress into a deeper darker spot, We cannot just forget the past, the places we live in were built by people who worked hard, lived their lives and tried to make a better life for their children.

We made up the part about the ketchup...just to see what people would say. We used horseradish...like normal people. Yep Blitz is a great back packing buddy! Thanks for stopping in and watching.

Well, I was drinking my morning coffee as you had your coffee... so there! You really went all out on some of those walk in shots! Did that add another mile to the hike?

Lol! so 4 mile flat hike in...left at 8 a.m. got to camp at 1:45 pm . According to my phone I walked 7.86 miles on the way in. But we planned to take our time and just try to shoot with purpose and intent would love if I could do that on every hike , but that's just not the reality...as you know this is gonzo run and gun other wise we would never get to camp.

Great video. Passed it along to my Mom as I think she’ll enjoy it. Didn’t know the China rapids story! Guess I hadn’t asked!

Jesse, you ARE a movie maker/story teller.....! I really enjoyed this video. Great job. I'm impressed you got the Jetboil French press for your morning coffee. I'll bring some of my beans that I roast myself and help to kick it up a notch. If you can be a ketchup snob than I can be a coffee snob. Can't wait for the next HYOH-WU adventure. Keep those vid's coming! Tom

Thanks for the compliment Tom! That Jetboil only comes on easy hikes short hikes. To be honest, it's very big and cumbersome.I generally just take my stanley $18 pot and burner. It's lighter and takes up less space. The real question did you see the ghostly apparition when we were standing around the campfire at night?

@Bird Dog Farms works best in low light. That's what I hate about my computer minitors...I can see it just fine...then on phone screen I can barely make it out. My TV looks different to. Pain in the rear
