Yeah Blitz went to Groomer Today and got his fur cut and trimmed for summer. And he looks amamazing. But dogs are awesome. For me i never had kids so i have a fondness for dogs. I was just telling Blitz tonight hes my best hiking partner and friend a guy could have. We pretty much do everthing together. Its one of those situtions now where i go Jesse goes and hes bringing Blitz.

there apparently is 2 trail heads. One at the very top which i took....easy to find u cant miss it. THEN apparently there is one coming up somewhere along the dirt road...coukdnt see that one...plus u there really is ni where to park.

Thank you so much.. you folks do some good work over there. Its nice that there are people out there that know how important our local history is. My big thing is why is this mountain named this or that creek named that...then ya start going down worm holes. Another part of me wonders if maybe it was hazing gone wrong. The seasoned rangers messing with the new summer worker. But thats a huge accussation. And i believe the head ranger at Raven Ranger Station was Morris Davis....and he's kind of a legend around here. But i say even legends can be surrounded by some bad apples.

Oh man....it was...then i was like well ill just do it in parts/attempts. I really did enjoy the exercise....but im done with that trail for awhile.....it was awesome to have Nate back always good company...unfourtnately we probably wont see him for another year. I have no excuse of why i didnt...rather than the winter was so weird here and this is a south facing slope for the most part and wasnt expexting any snow....and it was weird...it was al clear trail and i literaly came around a corner the fisrt time and BAM! horrible blow down and snow. Yeah Its crazy about the lookouts. And i came across the Hegg story when I was looking to see how Kenelty Mountain got its name.

Oh man thanks! Yeah if ya hike im sure i will see u on trail at some point. Glad u are enjoying the content....hopefully if weather and fires permitting we can get in 15 to 17 trips this summer. Then hopefully we have a winter so i can take like 2 months off. Lol!

Oh awesome ...we have a lot of beautiful country up here. Blitz is 100% Alaskan Malamute and he weighs only 130lbs. His fluffy fur is what make him look so big. He gets a haircut next Thursday...so he wont look like a hippy any more. lol

Hmmmm...interesting i didnt get any weird vibes up their at Rainbow lake...rahter than the damn ravens kept circling me. Yeah when i told someone i planned on sleeping in the lookout they told me dont. They were up there in summer of 2023 and said it looked like she was about to come down....and i had saw pictures and it looked in rough shape....but as always pictures dont show the whole story. Weird thing was when i started talking about the suicide attempts i got a weird cold feeling and goose bumps...kinda shocked me a bit...u can see when it happens cause i kinda awkwardly look up and over to the right. But im sure it was just my mind playing tricks on me.

Yeah Lincoln counties home values increased quite a bit from 2019 till now...the average increase is 45%. So people were pretty shell shocked when they saw there property assessments in 2023. Also Lincoln county used to be the least populous of all 56 counties....we are now the 10th most populous. However, no new jobs. Unfortumately i have no answers.

Engle Lake is a possibilty...did moran basin last year....and i can tell u there are some fattys in there...well yhe big eagle we saw in there was catching them not me. Will be hitting Granite in August with The Idahonian....Yes there are fishes in Baree lake....about 10 to 14 inchers. I want to get into Falls creek lakes ...thats why i was scoping out Taylor Peak Trail. Also have a trip to the sawtooths planned. Among the 15 lakes i want to hit this summer. So many lakes so little time.

The more i do it the better and more confident im getting. But i do feel 2023 was the year everthing started to click. Once aging thank u very much.
