Thank you for this. I’m about to make a neoprene sleeve for a portable AC tube. This helps.

Where can I get the printed neoprene? I can only find solid colours Thanks

I think she sublimated the koozie. You buy blank koozies and you sublimate the image on it.

I have a lot here! No color limitation, heat sublimation before sewing🎉

A few questions… Do you know the thickness of your neoprene? (4mm? 3mm?) What type of needle did you use?
@HypoZhang Жыл бұрын
5mm Hem sewing needle

Are you sewing off the side of the fabric? I may not be asking this correctly? Is the right side of the zig zag not into the fabric?
@jimmyeng6633 жыл бұрын
Yes, that's how you'd do it. This way when you stretch the seam so it butts up against each other it will align side by side and not have a turned seam.

Measure a cans circumference and diameter to get the dimensions. Draw a circle (base) with the diameter measurement then on opposing sides of the circle draw long rectangles the height of the can and half the circumference of the can. Test this pattern on cardboard and tape the sides and put a can in to see if it works. If it does then cut it out of neoprene and sew.
