this used to be my biggest fear too, feeling like a lost girl upon arrival! preparing ahead by checking out sites like Rome2Rio/Google Maps is what helped me decide what mode of transport will be best for me to take from the airport. it's super handy to pick up a SIM card with data at the airport too so you can easily pull out your map or do a quick search on the go! ☺

there is a really something so special traveling to another country alone. that feeling is so unexplainable. it's thrilling but at the same time it's blissful and fulfilling. your video is very inspiring. and what i love about your video is that it's not a bait. there are videos claiming that it's solo trip or traveling alone but they are kinda faking it because they've met with someone or some people on the same destination. and i dont like that. yours is just keeping it real. ❤

That happiness you're feeling from traveling solo, I totally know that when I did it and travelled solo from Cali to NYC by myself for the first time. I explored the city by myself all day before I reunited with my family a few days after. It was really nice to go around the city , no itinerary and just wherever it took me. Congrats and more adventures for you!

Ahhh NYC is another magical city to explore solo! What I love about walkable cities like this is it's so easy to just wander off and surprise yourself. ✨At first, I felt so pressured to stick to my itinerary but you're right - it feels so good to be spontaneous and enjoy things at my own pace! aww, i'm so glad you enjoyed it! i can speak at an elementary level of korean which does help, but you can definitely get by with just English! just download the Papago translator app on your phone and have it ready offline in case you ever need to speak with locals and have questions 💞

AW i'm so excited for you!!! i was just as scared at first but you can do it - once you're there you'll have loads of fun. i recommend papago as your translator, naver maps, kakaomap, kakaobus, subway korea! getting used to the public transport is all part of fun, and it's not too hard to find your way back in case you make a wrong stop. good luck and have the best time 🥰

omg trust me i was scared out of my MIND here - it took a lot of courage for me to not stay locked up in my hotel but you just gotta wing it and make the most of your limited time there! once you get over that bridge you'll be sure it's one of the best decisions you ever made 🙈
