Agree, we can’t dwell on the memories. It’s time to move on and create new memories as an adult. I’ve been watching you a while and you seem to always come back to Korea as your safe place. There’s so much beauty wherever we are, it’s rare'y about the place, but more about what you make of it.

I think that may be the first time you actually had your own freedom or independence was when you went to Korea for school and you enjoyed that freedom and coming back to America where you don’t have all those nice things It makes you yearn for your old days in Korea. You try to relive your days again by visiting Korea, but you know it is not the same as it was because you’re seeking for some thing that was an experience you’re trying to force that experience Your feelings are probably confused between wanting to go see Korea/live in Korea with wanting to seeking actual independence.

I myself studied abroad in Japan ten years ago and I could never forget all the memories I had there. But since then, I've overcame bouts of severe depression, went back to uni and got another degree, traveled to various states around the west coast, USA and visited my home country/met my other relatives for the first time, worked in a new career for past 4 years and now started my own business. I would love to visit Japan again but haven't had the chance; I have a host mom waiting for me over there but currently finances are strict. But regardless Life moves on. Situations and circumstances change. We'll be left behind if we keep thinking about the past and what was

Chrissy here! Really enjoying the Sunday vlogs, Julie! I know the feeling you're having right now when it comes to memories and Korea. I'm about to be 26 on January 26 . And I understand how you feel. I feel like I have so many things I wanna do right now. I still live with my mother, but I'm also done with college and. I also have no kids. Or no boyfriend, but I'm happy and w/ job working at a grocery store. It's not much but. I enjoy it because it's close to home. I'm still saving up for a car. i have memories I go back to for me it 2018 when life was good and I was 21. But we love and support you Julie! you got this love!

Fainting is no joke & scary! I’m so sorry you had that experience, but I’m glad you’re okay. I’ve fainted before in uni when I used to walk from my apartment to my work on campus. 😓 One day I just felt so fatigued and dizzy and as I was walking down these steps I felt weak and the next thing I knew I woke up on the ground. My coworkers helped me to the uni infirmary, but it was scary. 😥 The doctor said it was probably a combination of dehydration, sleep deprivation and some anxiety medication I was on. Also I think I had a vitamin d deficiency as well. Glad you’re okay! Stay safe and well! 💜💜

It could probably be because of the dental medication you are taking and it's causing that fainting as a side effect. But fainting could be caused by many reasons. If you want my recommendation. I suggest you have a blood pressure. blood sugar, and an iron test if you have the facilities available in South Korea, sometimes a low bp or sugar can cause that fainting and if you are low in iron then you are most likely anemic.

I tend to faint here and there because I'm anaemic. Usually the best thing to do is to get low so that if you do faint it won't be as hard of a fall. Just drinking some water and taking deep breaths are good too. Alsooo~ I used to be on exchange in Korea too and know where you're coming from. Although I've quickly adapted back to my normal life, a lot of my exchange friends have gone back to Korea to teach English. I think it's really good that you're closing a chapter because now you get to open a new chapter with new experiences. Anyways, I enjoy your videos!

Singaporean is a nationality. Singaporeans are either ethinically chinese, malays, indians, or mixed of that three.
