Hey guys! Long-awaited second episode is up! I hope you guys enjoy it. 💖
Tiangges, which translates to bazaar or market, started way back when women were left at home with their children doing household chores and sewing dresses while the men were out for work. They took this opportunity to earn money and sold the dresses at the little shops in their houses.
Compared to malls, where bulk items can be expensive, and ukay-ukay, where you can only find secondhand items, people love tiangges for the options it offers. Trendy clothes, special occasion gowns or dresses, shoes, bags, accessories, and even unique finds or surplus or overruns - whatever you need, you’ll probably find it at a tiangge at an incredibly affordable price.
And to truly showcase the essence of being a tiangge seller, why not highlight the most famous tiangge in the Philippines, Taytay Tiangge. Known as the Garment Capital of the Philippines, Taytay is the largest producer of garments in Rizal province and is home to some of the country’s famous fashion designers.
