I hope so...metal almost feels like it is dying with all the bands that have all chug chug breakdown chug songs and no riffs...metal won't die though, people will get sick of bland metal and be original again.

been revived ppl just sleepin' on it. suicide silence and impending doom opened up doors on that. american me came thru w nu hardcore. now you got bands like sworn in, villains, widow, structures, volumes, feign etc.. shits basically nu wave metal now.

I gave this another listen and kinda liked it. Instrumentally it was good, and although some core bands are decent and I do like deathcore vocals, they just don't fit the emotion of this song. Singing is pretty necessary for the feel of most Korn songs.

Dealey killed it and nothing less was expected. Raw and intense and gave the song gem more meaning than Korn conveyed.Fuckin' A, Bryan, fuckin' A!!!

Intro: Great. Just perfectly conveys the eerie loneliness of this song. Riff: Why would you take the initial off-beat away? Kills some of the groove. Vocal part: Fucking vile. And I mean fucking VILE, man. This is pure hate and I love it. Chorus: Without the clean melody, something complementary seems missing. Nevertheless massive acoustic onslaught. Overall: Great cover, would go nuts in the pit for. Solid 9/10.

They took their own spin on it; trying not plagiarize it, I like the creativity. This isn't korn it's a cover of them, love. ;3

Vidkun E has a point. The original intro is created from a metal string plucked by real human fingers received through magnets "pickups" into wood and then amplified into a room "reverb" with a (simulated) rotating speaker "univibe" effect. The cover is merely a digital replication "sample" played on a keyboard into computer software. No point defending the less entertaining, and creative approach just because it's 'new'.

The intro just didn't feel right. Good cover, but the intro was modeled perfectly and produced in such a way that was just iconic. They did nail the chorus however and gave it some more life and more grit.

wow as soon as the riff kicked I knew I wouldn't like this. How could you fuck up such a simple riff? Don't try and cover Korn if you can't do it at all. The point of a cover is to match or exceed and you didn't even come remotely close to matching the tone or groove of the original.

spicing the music up. Like what BFMV did when they covered a Pantera song. Use their lyrics but change the music to suit the bands style and make it their own.
