Actually that is wrong. Every streamer I have watched found Iono cringe and said the streaming world was absolutely not like that. They said it was similar to "vtuber culture" which is totally different from "streaming culture"

Yup when she was revealed many people initially thought Iono was a Vtuber and Penny was the person under the model.. and then a snippet of the gym battle was shown and threw people off with her being "real"

I was purposefully doing the gyms in order to not be overleveled, but I somehow skipped her so she was my badge 8 and I was already in the 40s lol.

Disobedience: allow me to introduce myself Disobeying pokemon when not having enough badges becomes more common on this game since it can happen unintended (in previous game, Gym Leaders act as roadblock so you have to either grind really hard or trade to do that)

@@odakidakida9193 Yeah I find the choice to do the whole 'you can do what you want, go where you want, engage the gyms in any order' and then proceed to *still* link the gyms to the badges needed to get pokemon to obey you AND have nothing else scale with level...which is how it should work in this type of game. So basically whilst you CAN complete everything else without doing the gyms (RT gaming proved that it's possible) and doing all the side quests whilst having pokemon who disobey you constantly, it's in no way a smooth experience. It's like they *know* about western style open world games but don't get *get* how they work.

@@luketfer OK, first of all: obedience is only tied to the level you captured the pokemon, you can level a pokemon caught at low level to 100 and it will still obey you even with no gym badges. Second: I will never understand why would you want the game to scale, what is the point of grinding, one of the most crucial parts of any rpg, if everything gonna be scaled to you? I am gonna be frank, scaling in an rpg, even more a turn based rpg is just dumb and kills the point of the game having a leveling. Why level your pokemon if you gonna have the same challenge doing it at lvl 20 or lvl 90?

Then probably Shion, because Iono looks like someone mix Shion, Gura, La+ and Pikamee from VOMS for a good measure.

fidough, this(iono has a yellow jacket as well) and nemona's personality can definitely be a argued that a member in the devs is a fan

Iono is memorable to me because I somewhat accidentally fought her first, so being a few levels under her really helped feel like I had a challenge to overcome

Yeah, I don't know about my number 1, but she's definitely ranked high and memorable enough for me too, she's a really cute parody character. XD You know, back in the day with the likes of Kanto and Johto, I think I always liked whoever the 6th Gym Leader was, the mysterious Sabrina and the cute but tough Jasmine or whatever, those two were somewhat interesting to me and I still like them a fair bit. :p

Sounds like you lucked out. ^^; I always wondered about that, low level or type disadvantage or even just neural battles compared to being on par or with type advantages on people, making things easy... :p (Not sure about other crazy competitive fan stuff like Nuzlocke runs though, I don't get that right now. :p). I did that one some of my last playthroughs of being able to play Mega Man 8 again somehow, going with my usual order where the next boss would be weak to the skill I just learned from the previous boss, like Bomb Man to Frost Man or whatever, but than... never using it unless I had to. :p And it was really fun and not too hard at all until Search Man who was challenging but fair, and than... I cheated for Astro Man though and used the missiles, I hate him and the Dr. Wily Stage 1 penguin thing, LOL. XD Most of the game is pretty easy though... :p Although I think... Dr. Wily himself is admittedly hard because he has two forms and stuff and therefor like twice as much health as you, among other things. :? Takes a while, but I do usually beat this MM at least. :p Sigh... yeah, challenges, huh. :? Fun stuff, but I only ever got around to so many to do, but oh well I guess. :p

I just did the gyms as I found them while hunting Titans. Iono was erased by a level 67 Tinkaton in my playthrough

I think cos the game says west for Gym route. And she's the easternmost Gym.

So Game Freak made an open world game where you can do gyms in any order......and didn't scale them by how many you have already completed. I honestly shouldn't be surprised at this point that something so simple wasn't implemented.
