We have been watching ur videos and love them,we are now thinking of going to kos on holiday. Those loud insects are call cicadas a greek bug. Thank for helping us find a great place we cant wait to visit.

Great to see Kos again , visited in 2018 and it looked like they have sorted the harbour out After 2017 earthquake it has massive gaps and uneven concrete. Beautiful place can’t wait to go back.

I was here the exact same time mate! My first solo travel. Got all the same videos and also lit a candle in the same place you did! Walked around for hours was stunning! So good watching this back, great footage.

I was based in cypress 89 92 ,and TOURING ALL the Greek Islands on my rented vespa 90 was incredible, KOS IS THE BEST, 100%,the people are great, riding at night whith the locals who had high powered moped and spanish dirtbikes,music in the mountains,the mountain twistys roads. BEAUTIFUL ISLAND👍🇦🇺

Stayed just outside Kos Town in 1988. We hired bikes. It was very cheap and everything was kept simple. The weather was just perfect in the two weeks we were there. We met a sponge diver. He said, 'I am a sponge diver'. I remember seeing that very old tree with its branches being supported, and also lots of kitty cats. Absolutely love Greece. The beautiful hot, dry weather, where you get the best tan. the only drawback is the mozzies. They attack me big time. Never saw any cockroaches. That to me means the place is unclean. Going abroad back then was so exciting. Now, folk seem to go to these places just for the weekend.

Fantastic wander around Kos town, brings back lots of beautiful memories. I was shocked you still have the crickets, in Corfu they’re gone by September and it’s October just.

Thank you for this. My maternal grandparents were from Kos (Kefalos and Kardamena) and I've never been myself, but have always wanted to go. I really appreciate getting to experience what I could from this, which is much more than what Google Maps or a Wikipedia page can do. Thank you tremendously

Been last year, was supposed to visit again, then Thomas Cook went bust, then booked again and Covid meant TUI cancelled the holiday. Booked for May 21, hoping we get to go. Lovely to see the harbour front repaired, after the 2017 quake there was a massive fracture almost the full length, with a six inch gap and the an 8-10 inch step up. Great video, very much enjoyed

I'm sure someone has already told you this but the insects you call crickets are actually cicadas and the insect you called a cockroach was in fact a cricket! I've been watching your videos for a while now and have just been looking at holidays in Kos so I was delighted to see you've been there!

Hi Tim, went to Kos when I was a kid but can't for the life of me remember where we stayed. We went on a day trip by boat from Bodrum as well. Loved going to Bubble beach. I don't think the noise is crickets, but Cicadas. They love the Mediterranean islands and were really annoying when we went to Crete.

Ah Kos!!! I was there in 2017 and stayed at Tigaki beach Hotel All- Inclusive. I even jumped on the boat to Bodrum in Turkey , for a Day trip. I want to go back.

Hi Tim I've got one of those pink flowers you brought from Tesco. Mines still flowering you have to move them inside in the winter . This was great I've not been abroad very much i only started going last year. I went to Majorca and Rome I'm 50 now I feel I've missed out really. Loved seeing this thankyou for sharing with us. Tim, my missus says I’m in a loophole of your videos haha. Went to Kos last year but stayed on the south side of the island which is a lot quieter, so coming back to Kos next month and staying in Kos Town so this has been helpful. Please keep up the Greek vids! Rhodes & Cephalonia are both stunning.

HI Tim this was so lovey to watch, I watched this then did the sunset one and left the comments on there but I don’t know if you have left there yet if not my friend Is staying at beautiful hotel don’t know what it’s called. If you read my comments on the sunset one if you are still there it would be lovely to pop to Manolis restraunt ran by Donna and Manoli My friend Veda is over there now till 11th Oct to see her daughter Donna. Kos is beautiful and I will now know thanks to you where she is talking about, safe journey home xx
